Recap of the amazing weekend for Team Brunei at HYROX Jakarta 2026. 🇧🇳💪

Congratulations to everyone who took on the challenge! Whether you were racing for a personal best, your first HYROX, or simply enjoying the experience, every finish line is an achievement.

It was also great to see so many familiar names - and plenty of new ones too. Seeing our community continue to grow and support one another is something special.

Congratulations once again to all the athletes. 👏🇧🇳

started abit late but I did my first 10K race of the year!
woke up at 3am just for this?? worth it! shockingly enough I got to run for few seconds with the guys from @tenpercentrunningclub as caterpillar! so random!

and to think that last year, 4 days before today's date, I just did my first 10K in 1hr and 40mins. A huge 30 mins gap!! Never been so proud of myself!

will I be joining next year? Definitely! would join another event this year before it ends? MOST DEFINITELY WILL!

This year’s bucketlist includes being a Hyroxer and a Redliner, but a runner?? That’s something I wouldn’t have EVER thought of (Thank you Tenpc for the chance 🥹)

We ran as a team, won as a team 🙌🏻

Ok, what’s next?

Today’s intervals exposed my biggest training flaw 😅 Getting slower each rep (5:25→5:47→5:55) while staying in my comfort zone. Time to stop managing workouts and start attacking them. Growth happens when you’re willing to blow up trying. Data doesn’t lie. Thought I was crushing my VO2 max intervals, but spending 70% time in Zone 4 instead of Zone 5 told a different story. Time to train smarter, not just harder. #VO2Max #HeartRateTraining
