This Father’s Day, skip the socks and raise a glass. 🍶✨

Treat Dad to a well-deserved dinner at @evernight_ldn in Nine Elms, where modern izakaya-style dining meets the refined taste of Okukuma from @toyonaga_distillery in Kumamoto — smooth, bold, and full of character.

Okukuma is a rare and distinctive rice shochu, aged for seven years in sherry casks for a deep, complex finish.

Because he deserves more than just a “thanks.”

The first time we tried @yen._chen @yenchen2507 food, it completely won over our hearts — and our stomachs.

Back when she was cooking her own dishes, we went back countless times; it always felt like our stomachs would suddenly remind us, “It’s time to go eat Yen’s food.”

We even brought friends visiting from Taiwan, and every single one of them loved it. They still talk about her dishes to this day.

Yen’s food is bold — the flavors are balanced, vibrant, and present.

It’s the kind of food that wins you over effortlessly.
And when you realize which dishes you keep reaching for the most, it’s always the ones that feel truly heartwarming.

那個蝦, grilled hispi, and the quail, 真的好想再吃到。

Can’t wait to see what the future holds for you — but wherever you go, we’re ready to follow, just for another taste of your cooking!

We visited @evernight_ldn twice and were always welcomed with such genuine hospitality.

Their Japanese fusion is beautifully done — a place that’s definitely worth making a special trip for.

Some of my favorite dishes:
House Pickles
Ebi-Katsu Sando, Curry Tartare
Enoki & Yuba Harumaki, Mushroom Bearnaise
Scallop Nigiri
Red Mullet & Seabass Sashimi
Sumiyaki Monkfish, Chestnut Miso, Agretti
Chicken Hearts Skewers
Roasted Kombu Ice Cream, Pecan Brittle, Rice Puff
Chestnut Mascarpone Choux Puff, Caffe Borghetti

Five years ago, Nine Elms was relatively unknown, but it has since transformed into a rapidly growing neighborhood in London, attracting new shops, bars, and restaurants. A stylish Japanese izakaya opened by restaurateurs Chase Lovecky and Lynus Lim features a menu that highlights Japanese cooking with British ingredients, changing with the seasons. The sleekly intimate atmosphere offers small, shareable dishes such as crispy monkfish karaage, devon crab with nori and tomato dashi, and iberico pork collar with sansho miso and lemon shallots.
