hiii! 🥹 i know i’ve been slipping in and out of this account, but i’m finally graduating this july! these past five months have been a blur of uni requirements, deadlines, and trying to savor every last moment, all the while aware that time is slipping like water between my fingers and that the great separation is nearing… my mind still can’t grasp how in a week or so, me, my friends, as well as my peers will no longer have a place that tethers us all in one place. you guys know how much of a nostalgic person i am, and perhaps i’ve grown too attached to the campus. after all, this university has always been the dream. i could only imagine myself here, and now, to think that this chapter is finally coming to an end feels almost surreal. i try to linger a little longer after classes, take familiar and unfamiliar routes, and commit everything to memory. i even created a bucket list which made my last semester extra fun! i know that it’s a place i can always go back to, but we change in a million ways and return as different versions of ourselves. and oh, how much i’ve missed reading! so far i’ve only progressed with 6 out of the 26 books i planned to read this year, but numbers aside, i miss reading a book that makes me feel alive :( needless to say that i’ve also missed this safe space of mine and the book community that has always felt like home. i missed sharing thoughts, screaming over favorite characters, and seeing everyone’s reading updates. aside from reading, i’ve also entered my active era … when i’m off my phone, i’m exploring. i tried pop pilates, barre, learned pickleball, went back to badminton and jogging, and even tried riding a bike again after years. i also tried to eat healthy and cut sugar (keyword: TRY because i’ve been stuck on day one since november 😭 i can’t help it ok?! i’m a sweet tooth!) i still don’t know what comes after july, but i’m looking forward to finding out. 🤍 if you’re reading this, let me know how you’ve been and what books you can recommend because i’m completely oblivious to the new releases!

it's my one year on bookstagram!! it's crazy this is something i managed to stick with considering it was a 2 am urge i went with on a whim. well it was a lifelong (as in 2016 when i started watching booktube) urge that i finally realized on a whim. i'm glad i followed it or else we would still be dreaming today. honestly it hasn't felt like a year, maybe because i kinda abandoned the account for half of it. i'm still figuring out my style of content, or maybe i don't have one and i'll just keep doing whatever calls to me. but i've made peace with the fact that i don't have to be here all the time and that posting and interacting isn't an obligation (and that numbers aren't all that). i do have lots of goals for the future, like taking arc reading seriously (i received 3 arcs from netgalley last year and did not read a single one because i wasn't in the mood...) and eventually participating in influencer programs or whatever. but at the end of the day this is just my version of a digital diary that i started for fun. so i'm not gonna force myself to do anything i'm not up for at the moment. there will always be new books and authors and programs. one thing i Do want to start doing soon is making real connections. i haven't been the best at dms and replies, so i'm sorry if i have accidentally left you hanging it's not personal... if you ask me how many friends i've made here i would say none. but i've had a lot of fun getting to know you guys through your posts and whenever someone new adds me to their close friends it always shocks me because wow you guys actually like me (i think). i've loved seeing glimpses of your lives beyond the books and i'm grateful for every little comment i've received. i promise i'll make more of an effort to befriend people this year. that said, i've tagged some accounts i absolutely adore and have secretly been my biggest inspirations throughout the past year. whether it's your beautiful photos or creative editing or really honest captions, i've found myself looking through your pages first whenever i feel lost. i'm really glad i get to share a community with people like you guys. all of you really, thanks for sticking with me <3

a new year, a new list and this calls for a fresh set of books to read in the year ahead 🍃 over the past few days, i’ve been scrolling through my goodreads and realized that some of the books i marked as want-to-read were added impulsively (mostly driven by popularity and hype) while others, sadly, are books with genres i think my younger self would have loved more than the person i am now. one by one, i removed them, until 60 turned into 40+, and it’s such an oddly bittersweet feeling 🥹 this 2026, i want to be more careful and deliberate with the books i choose. i want to read with intention: to learn, to explore new perspectives, voices, and ideas, and to sit with stories that challenge me rather than rush through them. of course, i know that this newly curated tbr list won’t always go as planned 100%. my 2025 reading journey proved this to me, as i found myself picking up titles that weren’t on my list and, thanks to my spontaneity and experimental curiosity, discovered books that turned into some of my top reads. hence, i’m still leaving room for surprise and joy in my reading life. with a lowered goal from 50 books down to 40, I’m hoping to prioritize depth over quantity. i still do get fomo seeing everyone’s accomplished reading goals (god, how i wish i had moreeee time just to read), but i want to be more mindful and gentle with myself and refrain from putting unnecessary pressure. 🤭 speaking of lists, i’ve been thinking a lot about committing myself to a planner, so i tried out notion and got a productivity planner for my thesis. i also created a bucket list for 2026 just so i can feel intentional and excited about the year ahead. since i’m on my last semester already, i also made a list of things i want to do and try out to maximize these final months of college. anyway, what do you think of my list? any thoughts, comments, or recommendations? 💛

.𖥔 ݁ ˖🍁๋࣭ ⭑🕯️༘⋆ realized i haven't posted in a hot minute lol so here's my #report of recent things x r ➵ reading finished Drowned in the Name of Love by @writtenbyruts.diaz last week, first read and first five stars of the year! but other than that, i haven't picked up a thing since christmas. wait actually i started reading the Trials of Apollo but i find Apollo/Lester so infuriating that i can't read more than five pages at a time e ➵ eating like, pasta. p ➵ playing Harry, Ethel, Ha Vay, Ashe... new Erin LeCount, Heated Rivalry Soundtrack, the likes. o ➵ obsessing i mean... obviously Heated Rivalry. Harry announcing new stuff??? Mitski just announced an album? everyone is being active and cryptic and my wallet is screaming for help! r ➵ recommending Heated Rivalry to anyone who hasn't watched the show, read the books, listened to the soundtrack, read the fanfics, watched the interviews, come to love Hudcon........ t ➵ treating more vinyls than my wallet can handle and so much darjeeling tea that i'm pretty sure i'm 60% tea now. what else can i tell you? i have one exam left. i've been sick since before christmas. no concerts until the end of february. idk what i'm doing rn tbh xoxoxooooo #bookstagram #frankenstein #pinterest #aesthetic
