POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

I wrote this song for the person I love.
I sang it on the day we got married.
And today, I'm giving it to you.

Together is officially out. 🤍

This song will always be tied to one of the most meaningful days of my life, and it feels surreal — and incredibly special — to finally share it with you.
If you listen, I hope you find a little piece of your own story in it.

Available everywhere you listen to music! 🫶🏻

Lyrics often come last to me during the songwriting process for whatever reason. I have friends that I would consider to be prolific writers who make it look effortless, whereas it takes me a little longer to sculpt and discover what I’m trying to say.

Why is it so hard to write Love songs that aren’t corny?? (…One could argue that this song is still corny, I suppose 😂)

I worked really hard at not settling for “good enough”, and I’m really proud of it. It’s special to see something come together and also to observe how the meaning of it can deepen or change over time.

I hope you can find some meaning in the words, and that maybe this song could become part of the soundtrack of your life. I hope it reminds you to be thankful for the one you love. ❤️

Every year as a team we sit down together to think, talk, and pray about our theme for the fundraiser. We don’t pick the theme randomly. Every word means something and guides us we craft the stories that we want to tell throughout the event. This year is no different. We’re well into our 6th year as an organization and we are seeing fruit from work we began back in 2020. We pour our heart and soul into this event and it is by far the best and easiest way to catch the vision of who we are and what we’re trying to accomplish. It would mean the world if you considered joining us on May 2! Link in bio

‘If I’m Being Honest’ is out NOW on all platforms!

We’ll share more about this song in a bit…but it’s safe to say that this song was one of the most honest and vulnerable prayers we’ve ever written and released.

We’re so thankful for our insanely talented friends that helped us shape this simple/humble song into the work of art that it is today. It truly takes a village.

Today marks the 1 year anniversary of Lonely Exile being released into the wild!!! I think a happy birthday is in order!

It’s true that time flies, and I am so thankful to every person who has listened, sent a message, and shown your support. It means a lot that you would take time out of your week, and spend your hard earned money to come and support the concerts, too!

I want to thank all the amazing people who helped make this album happen. The support from family, friends and @afa.1991 made it all possible, and I am truly so full of gratitude.

As for the album and art itself… I feel like it is my strongest work, and I know that it is always something that I will look back on and be proud of. I think beyond the initial satisfaction of working hard to create something, the second most rewarding thing has been hearing how people connect with the songs. It makes this world feel a little less lonely.

From the bottom of my heart,
Thank You. ❤️🌊

GO TOGETHER 2025 RECAP VIDEO 🎉🎁

Words cannot describe how grateful we are for this past weekend. Not only is this night special for all the reasons it usually is, but as an organization we celebrated 5 years of work into the next generation.
5 years of impact.
5 years of life change.
5 years of learning.
5 years of growth.
And not one iota of it happens in isolation. Our frontline staff team is only the tip of the iceberg in this endeavour. If you’ve ever cooked or served a meal, dropped off clothing, prayed for us, donated even a small amount, or attended one of our events you are just as responsible for our success as anyone else.

THANK YOU!

Thank you @monisbug for leaning into the planning for this event specifically. You continue to go above and beyond for us and we are grateful to know you.

@everyotherstudio thank you for crushing it once again. Every year we present you with a wild idea and you make it come to life in ways better than we imagined. There are so many brands and orgs you guys could choose to work with and the fact that you continue to partner with Youth Rise flows is away.

@nudgecreative thank you for your leadership in helping bring these sprites to life. You are a foundational and critical part in making this happen and we cannot thank you guys enough not only for your technical expertise but your friendship.

@lwaluguak96 thank you for being an example and showing youth from our communities that anything is possible

Thank you to all of our corporate sponsors. Thank you to Evario for hosting us. Thank you to the countless volunteers that made this night possible. There truly is too many people to count but for now we leave you with this 🧡🙌

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU 🙌

What. A. Night. We are overwhelmed with gratitude at the amount of people that came together last to invest into making a difference in the lives of young people. We truly cannot do this alone and we are humbled by the amazing support we have! 🧡
