The season of darkness invites us to turn inwards.

Beneath the surface, in the fertile soil of our hearts, there is work to be done. Space to slow down, reflect, to hear ourselves more clearly.

Like roots taking nourishment from the earth, the work we do in these quieter seasons shapes what we bring into the light.

And we don’t have to do that work alone. When we gather in community, we learn from one another, find safety to heal in the open and grow through our shared experiences.

This is the energy behind my final Cacao Ceremony & Sound Journey of 2026.

Come and join us around the log burner, share organic ceremonial cacao, rituals, heart-centred meditation and an immersive sound journey.

Time to step away from the demands of everyday life and return to yourself.

The evening will include:

Our first Slow Sangha at SkandiHus Walthamstow last night 🤍

We made clay, drank tea and had a really good conversation about what makes a healthy community.

Communication, trust, respect and authenticity all came up. But we also talked about something that feels really important to me: being able to speak your truth.

Because you can be loyal to a community, but if you can’t be honest, if you can’t question things or say when something doesn’t feel right, then loyalty can easily turn into compliance.

We also spoke about presence. Being present with ourselves, and with each other. Actually listening, being open to different perspectives and making space for conversations that aren’t always easy.

I think building a healthy community takes more than just bringing people together. It takes honesty, trust and a willingness to show up as we are.

Thank you to everyone who came along and contributed to the conversation. It felt like a really good place to start.

We’ll be doing it again in December and hopefully we can turn it into a monthly event. We can’t do it without you though, so come along and tell your friends about it too. In a world that can feel fairly broken, we all need healthy communities to be part of.

A toy clown. A bin. A story about friendship told entirely without words.

CLOWN is coming to Walthamstow as the first ever circus adaptation of Sir Quentin Blake’s beloved book, and it has his blessing. Five circus artists bring it to life through acrobatics, puppetry and a lot of falling over (on purpose).

Sir Quentin himself called it “appropriately speechless”, which feels about right for a show about a toy clown who climbs out of the bin to find a home for himself and the friends he left behind.

Step inside our little circus tent on Walthamstow Town Square, just a couple of minutes’ walk from Walthamstow Central. 3 December to 3 January. Semi relaxed, step free, and with £3 tickets held back for local families. Ages 3 and up.
