I’m not against development. I’m against development that treats current residents like an inconvenience. In McGinley Square, trucks idle before sunrise, workers use our block as a restroom, and summonses don’t stop any of it. A fine isn’t enforcement when it’s a cost of doing business. My open letter to Jersey City officials is at the link in bio. Seeing this on your block? Drop it in the comments and tag your council member. #JerseyCity #McGinleySquare #JCNeighbors

What’s on the City Council agenda—and how could it affect your neighborhood? In this Community Caucus, the office if Councilman Gilmore walks through the upcoming Jersey City Council agenda, explains key proposals, and raises questions residents should be asking—from the removal of public trash cans and a proposed Finance Committee to Arlington Park improvements, housing funds, public safety grants, and more. Local decisions shape our streets, services, and tax dollars. Watch the recording, learn what’s being considered, and make your voice heard before the Council votes. #JerseyCity #WardF #CommunityCaucus #LocalGovernment #CommunityEngagement #CivicParticipation

UPDATED MUTUAL AID REQUEST Peace Family, Unfortunately we are raising this ask again due to the urgency of the need for one of our dear comrades. A founding member of Build More Unity is currently navigating a difficult set of material hardships and needs community support. We are raising $1,300 to help cover immediate living expenses and financial obligations while they work toward regaining stability and securing employment. If you’re able, please consider contributing. No amount is too small. Every donation helps provide some breathing room during a difficult period. If you’re unable to donate, sharing this post is also an act of solidarity. Goal: $1,300 All Power to the People! 💙🖤 Build More Unity, On All Fronts! ❤️🖤💚

Instead of accelerating tax lien sales, we need to ACCELERATE THE HELP! 🏠💙💛 Last Wednesday, I addressed the Jersey City Council about the financial pressures facing longtime homeowners and the importance of connecting residents with resources before they reach a crisis point. We can be proactive about protecting the people who have spent decades building our neighborhoods. That's part of why we launched JC Keep It Ours — a community-led effort to help prevent displacement and support vulnerable homeowners. 🎥 Watch my remarks, share your thoughts, and learn how you can get involved. 🌐 www.JCKeepItOurs.org Keeping Jersey City Home. ❤️ #JCKeepItOurs #JerseyCity #HousingStability #PreventDisplacement #HomeownerSupport
