INTRODUCING: MINDFUL CREATIVITY - A six-part workshop series at the exchange with @evokewithevoke 🩶

In a city as diverse and hectic as London is, there are very few spaces and events where everyone is truly equal, and the human experience is laid bare with the space and capacity to connect with ourselves and each other.

With the creative guidance and techniques of some of the most established songwriters and artists with Evoke: Mindful Creativity, the creative connection series is a 6-episode journey starting with introductions to creative expressions and through themes of home, identity and perspective to find a newfound sense of connection - bringing together communities from every walk of life in the heart of the city.

Come along, build workshop by workshop and learn more about yourself and others through creativity and writing. First three workshops on eventbrite now. Link in Bio.

HAVE YOU KIST YOURSELF TODAY?

Kind internal self talk. You wouldn’t speak to a loved one like that so why do you do it to yourself?

Be kind ❤️

On Wednesday, I was honoured to join a 5K walk with @walk.works in support of @ollyswork charity sponsored by @deloitte_uk

I was asked to write and perform a poem at the Armoured Heart in Reading - a sculpture made from knives handed in during local amnesty schemes.

Olly’s Work was founded by Stuart and Amanda after the tragic loss of their son, Olly Stephens, who was killed at just 13 following an online dispute. The charity now focuses on supporting young people and tackling issues like online harm and violence.

As someone who’s seen and been personally affected by knife crime growing up, this is close to my heart. I wanted to speak on hope and the healing power of the community in moments of tragedy.

Big love to @ollyswork for the amazing work you’re doing, and to @carolinegratrix_viva and Liz at Walk Works for bringing people together in such a meaningful way.

Something powerful is coming to Reading this April. 💥

We’ve partnered with Evoke Creative Wellness to launch RISE UP - a 3-day wellbeing camp for teenagers, designed to inspire, challenge, and empower young people in our community.

Across the three days, teens will experience:

• Creative workshops in music, poetry and self-expression
• Fitness and boxing sessions with the N3W Angle team
• Inspiring talks and Q&A sessions with successful local entrepreneurs
• Healthy meals provided throughout the day

It’s a 360° wellness experience focused on building confidence, resilience, and connection - while giving parents a well-deserved break during the holidays.

Spaces are limited and priority is being given to young people from underserved areas in Reading.

If you know a teenager who would benefit from this experience, send them this way.

Find out more and sign up here:

Let’s help the next generation rise up. 🔥

This incredible trio, Sami, Cam & Wez, from @evokewithevoke , blew my mind this morning.

They calmly and kindly guided us through a writing workshop that brought out vulnerability and creativity from the deepest places. I don’t mean that to sound cringey, but there were people in the room who professed not to have a creative bone in their bodies who ended up sharing writing so beautiful that we were all in tears 😭

It was very powerful.

And it reminded me how much hidden creativity we all hold inside. If you want something bonding to do with your team, community group etc, I can’t recommend them highly enough.

An inspiring morning I will never forget ✨✨✨✨✨
