I get asked about my setup for USPSA Limited Optics, video to come.
I use a Springfield 5", 1911DS Prodigy, and couldn't be happier. Only thing stock is grip, frame and slide, shoots flat and runs like a champ.

@springfieldarmoryinc -Prodigy 5"

@holosunoptics - 507 Comp

@atlasgunworks - Premium mags

@evolutiongunworks- internals, magwell, safety's, guide rod

@red_dirt_usa - F3 Trigger

@shootingsportsinnovations- Nitrofin

Slide To Frame Fit - @legionprecisionweaponsystems island barrel kit.

Huge shout out to Carl @legionprecisionweaponsystems for making these kits.

Big thank you to @phil.shoots.guns for his awesome YouTube content on this exact build kit.

Also also the guys in the discord helping each other has been massively helpful.

Overall slide to frame fitting time for me was 4.5 hours or so start to finish. I made some mistakes forcing things when I should not have, adding time to the overall fitting. But this was a great learning experience and I now have a rock solid fit with no play that feels like glass.

Follow along for more videos on this build.
