Happy new year, Garlic Gang! We have a full calendar going into January, with all events taking place in the cozy comfort of our shop on Columbia Road NW ✨

A quick note, we’re modifying our hours ever so slightly on Fridays. We’re opening at lunch time and closing as y’all head out for dinner (that’s 12-7).

🍫 Thursday 1/8: We’re hosting a hot cocoa bar all afternoon — buy a mug from our curated selection and fill it with homemade hot cocoa and a creative array of toppings. Sip while you shop to your heart’s content and come back for free refills.

💌 Sunday 1/11: We have a very sweet pop up from @petalsandpost! Jackie is bringing a collection of linen postcards from the 1930s, 40s, and 50s.

🧵 Thursday 1/15: @kaseyfolio is taking over the shop for an evening of stitching and connection. Kasey will teach you how to embroider your own photo or one from her collection. This workshop is $65 and covers all the materials you’ll need, along with light beverages and snacks. Space is limited, snag your tickets now (link in bio)!

🌙 Sunday 1/25: @evolve.vtg is liquidating her entire collection (!). Snag vintage clothing, purses, accessories, and more for under $20. Literally everything will be under $20.

🏁 Thursday 1/29: Sapphic Speed Dating. If you’ve always dreamed of meeting your wife at a vintage store… this is your chance! We’ve been hard at work designing a non-cringe event that will foster plenty of flirting and new connections. Tickets ($12+) go on sale January 14.

We are back with another clothing swap and we are so so excited!! We are hosting the clothing swap on Sunday, January 11th from 12-2pm at Dock 5 at @unionmarketdc

We’re excited to also have @caferosebay on-site selling delicious drinks ☕️ and @toimoibakery selling tasty and unique pastries!!

We are so excited to partner with @sowhatelsehelps and give them all the leftover unclaimed clothes to help those in the dmv!

We’re also looking for volunteers!!! If you’d like to help us bag and load all the leftover clothes at the end of the swap we will be eternally grateful, feel free to dm us if you’re interested! Or if you’re willing to donate $ (my venmo is sidney-hui or you can donate while registering) we are continuously buying more tarps to expand since we are growing every time!! OR if you have any sheets, blankets, tarps etc you’re willing to let go of, bring to the swap for people to lay stuff out on!!
