Happy spooky season!

It’s pretty warm here still but I’m wearing sweaters in spite.

Middle-earth’s legendary weapons are more than tools of war—they carry the histories of their makers and wielders. From famous blades such as Orcrist, Glamdring and Andúril to First Age weapons like Angrist, Ringil and Gurthang, Tolkien gave many of them their own names, stories and reputations. Some were forged by the greatest Elven smiths, passed between heroes, or used in battles that shaped entire Ages.

Even Grond, Morgoth’s enormous war-hammer, became legendary. Together, these weapons show the incredible depth of Tolkien’s world, where even a sword can have a history spanning thousands of years.

Art reveal 2 of 4 for @smoochpitig ✨️ Meet Razyck, the MMC of Of Wings and Blades!

Razyck would rather hold a book than a sword. As the son of the Blademaster’s Supreme Commander, he is destined to a life of reluctant military service. But when his father is assassinated, he gladly takes up his blade and sets out on a quest for justice that collides with Yura’s.

This is the matching portrait to Yura's done by @evydraws!

We hope your weekend has been lovely.
We just had a great day with family in the garden. It was super to soak up some sun for a bit 🌞
.
We are ending today with four absolute delights from "Starchild" our July show
.
Top: Evelyne Park @evydraws really shows her subtle mastery in this piece. You can read about the Korean Mythology leading the narrative on our website.
LtR: Gallery regular @roselyneoneillart chose #wolf and the Celtic Zodiac for her soulful portrayal which adds to the canine threads running through the show.
We are delighted to welcome back @yokomill with her utterly charming #aries piece, do find extra pictures on the website showing the wonderful paint textures and thoughtful presentation.
Finally the wonderful @tabithamacbethart who has joined our art family this year with her gorgeous "Lunar Hare Arisen"
.
You can find these works in the show #seelinkinbio or DM for more details #hare #lunar

Albedo
@evydraws
Medium: Acrylics on cotton canvas, unframed, gloss varnish
Art Size: 33.4 x 24.2 x 2 cm (13 x 9.5 x 0.78 inches)

.
Exquisite new painting from Evy for "Starchild"
Our last three features for today all portray the most subtle, dreamy, paint mastery. Illustrative fine art to swoon over.
To adopt this beauty please head here
https://www.inveraritygallery.com/product/albedo/
.
Inspired by a Korean myth: When the world was first created, there were two suns and two moons. The days were searing hot and the nights freezing cold, and so Daebyeolwang took his bow and arrow to shoot down one of each.
“Albedo” refers to the light reflectivity of a surface. In this painting, shadows and highlights are surreal, with even the portrait treated as a celestial object.
