AANAPISI Week 2026 is Sunday, September 27 to Saturday, October 3, 2026! 🌊💚

Established by Congress in 2007, this week celebrates Asian American and Native American Pacific Islander-Serving Institutions (AANAPISIs), which have provided critical support for AANHPI (Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander) student success in higher education.

AANAPISIs promote:
☑️ Equity in higher education
☑️ Access to college
☑️ Opportunities for low-income, first-generation, and underrepresented AANHPI students

Follow us this week as we recognize the CPP programs that have supported AANHPI students!

Why does the apartheid continue to cast its long moral and political shadow on democracy? Was the historic struggle against apartheid the story of one society? Or is being kept apart — segregation — the punishing symptom of a global color line we have yet to dissolve?

Join the Fall 2026 Justice Dialogues with acclaimed filmmaker Tara Moore in conversation with Dr. Aishwary Kumar, Director of the Democracy Institute at CPP, to understand how surveillance, segregation, and separation have returned as governing strategies worldwide and what apartheid South Africa tells us today about the inequality and technocracy that fuels them.

The Justice Dialogues will immediately follow the full screening of Tara Moore’s acclaimed film Legacy.

2:30-4:00 | Legacy (Screening)
4:00-5:30 | Race, Accountability, Democracy (Dialogue)

CPP University Theater
Tuesday, 6 October 2026
