COBA mourns the passing of Correction Officer Latisha Boone, a proud member of NYC’s BOLDEST, who served our Department with honor since 2013 and was assigned to SOD. For more than a decade, she faithfully dedicated her life to keeping our city safe and proudly served alongside many of her fellow correction officers, who became her extended family. We extend our heartfelt condolences to Officer Boone’s family, friends, co-workers and the entire SOD family during this incredibly difficult time. May she rest in eternal peace. You will never be forgotten, CO Boone.
