Some pics from a new photo album on the “Creative Portraiture” section of my website. The name of this album is “Different”. The model Aaronn Brown @executive__brown . My friend and collaborator Natasha Scully @nscully27 and I worked for four long hours the night before of this session setting up the backdrops and lights, then selecting color gels combinations and lights ratios. During this session we took turns photographing Aaronn, each of us learning from each other and helping each other. We both started another project named We the People Photography Project @we_the_people_photo_project_ . Thank you Aaronn Brown for this beautiful collaboration!

Ready for a good day! One frame from last Sunday photo shoot with Aaronn Brown @executive__brown. Aaronn came all the way from NYC to do the photoshoot and me and my friend Natasha Scully @nscully27 took turns photographing Aaronn. We (Natasha and )I spent four hours the night before setting up in my living room and testing lights. Aaronn wanted to do sports (boxing) and we wanted strong colors, so we ended up combining the two themes. #colorgelsphotography #boxing

🌟 Thriving Thursday: Humans of Foster Nation Edition - Volume 1 🌟 "Entering the foster care system at just a few days old, I pushed through as I refused to become another statistic. I was a ward of the state for years, moving between three different family placements before being legally adopted in the third grade. My biological family’s history of psychological disorders, including my mother's schizophrenia and my father's autism, led to their parental rights being signed away. Despite that, I was determined to create a better life for myself. I went on to college, earned a bachelor's degree, then spent over four years working at a nonprofit. During this time, I began to track down my biological family, even meeting my father for the first time at my grandfather’s funeral. While balancing a job and hospital visits to see my biological mother, who had stage 4 breast cancer, I was inspired to pursue my creative passions in acting, modeling, and art. The journey wasn’t easy, but it led to some incredible successes. I walked in New York Fashion Week four times, was featured in international magazines, and became the face of a major clothing brand, Royal Blue Apparel. I also appeared in commercials, including one for New Balance, and shared my artwork in art shows for the first time. Sadly, my biological mother passed away in hospice eight months ago. I'm grateful I was there for her until the end, and through that experience, I learned so many lessons and had spiritual awakenings. Now, I am focusing on my creative pursuits and being a mental health advocate. I’ll be launching the second episode of my Mental Health Series podcast on Instagram Live soon. My journey has taught me that nothing is impossible—you are only as limited as the limits you place on yourself. You were born with a unique path, and you have the power to follow it. Keep moving forward and evolving toward your highest self." - Aaronn Brown, Sparks 6.0 Cohort Protégé Join us in giving a shoutout to Aaron for his courage and tenacity. What limits are you breaking to evolve toward your highest self? Share with us below. #ThrivingThursday #FosterSuccess #Resilience #Inspiration #FosterNation
