Welcome to Day One of Northwest Terror Fest, or as your liver calls it: “The Beginning of the End.”

______________

UP FIRST:

The Metal Market will be in full swing at Narwhal (inside Unicorn) from 1 PM to 6 PM. Go find that one specific patch you’ve been hunting or a record to add to the shrine.

______________

AND THEN:

The actual sonic assault begins at 4:45 PM sharp down in the windowless void of Barboza. Netherrealms is kicking things off, so don’t be late unless you enjoy the sound of your own disappointment.

______________

If you’re wandering Capitol Hill wondering where to spend the money you should be saving for rent, we’ve listed our glorious sponsors below. They’re all within stumbling distance of Neumos.

SONIC BOOM RECORDS (6.1 miles): Dig through a killer selection of vinyl and more!
KNIGHTS REALM TATTOO (3.3 miles): Expert ink for those looking to make their mark.
GEORGETOWN LIQUOR COMPANY (5 miles): Vegan punk rock brunch? Oh, yeahhh!
EXISTENTIAL BODYWORK (0.6 miles): Recover before (or after!) the headbanging.
HILLSIDE BAR (0.6 miles): Grab some pre-show drinks in a great atmosphere.
UNICORN BAR / NARWHAL (0.1 miles): Don’t miss the NWTF Metal Market happening Fri & Sat!
DARK AGE TATTOO (0.1 miles): Commemorate the fest with exclusive flash designs!
TIME WARP BAR (223 feet): Happy Hour 12PM until 4 PM! Perfect timing for pre-show fuel.
BIG MARIO’S PIZZA (197 feet): Fuel up with some delicious New York-style pizza.
CAFFE VITA COFFEE ROASTERS (157 feet): Keep your energy high with some local coffee.

See you in the pit. Or at the bar.

Jose is a local owner of a food truck El Saborcito, in beacon hill, very close to my house, who was abducted by 🧊. There is a benefit ambient show for Jose at my house next week. There is a gofundme attached to this post and our donations accepted at this show will go towards supporting him and his family as they navigate this horror.

❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥

Big shoutout to @sonora.enjambre for the flier, help with curation and meaningful intention for the night 🩷

Bring something cozy, and try to park away from the house so as to not congest the block.

NOT ADA ACCESSIBLE

In late November my friend Jose was abducted by ICE. Jose and his family run an incredible food truck called El Saborcito in Beacon Hill. He is currently being held in Texas and the hearing he was supposed to have last week has been postponed. Any and all donations collected will go directly to his family. Thank you for your support. His food is bomb as hell and he’s one of the most jovial and kind business owners i’ve ever known, no one deserves to endure his current experience.

Dan K(Horse Thief), Mundane Possession(existential bodywork) & myself will soundscape thee eve. Ro will be DJing in between sets.

Fashion Week is not ADA accessible. If you’d like to support but are unable to make it, one of the slides in this post will have info on where to send money. feel free to DM me for my paypal if thats your preference and i’ll make sure the money reaches its destination. Please respect everyone and everything at Fashion Week.
