We did it 🥹 it’s truly an honor to work along side of these guys. So many full circle moments getting to paint in this lot too. We have so many memories here and I’m so happy we got to make more. I gotta pinch myself every time I paint a wall. I can’t believe this is what I do for a living. Wild.

I wanna give biggest thank you to @tukeone for inviting me to be apart of this project. Big thank you to @emit_df @existential.circus for being the best paint partners all weekend. Thank you to @daisy_fodness_mcgowan with @rinoartdistrict for a beautiful production. Thank you @its.sweetthang for being my model and letting me use your aura and essence to make this come to life. Thank you to everyone who stopped by to show love and support. None of it happens without the support from our community. I’m so honored to add color to our city.

The Monday after Art RiNo Festival… and the work continues. 🧡

Artists are still out painting today, finishing the mural jam walls in the alley and at Denver Central Market. Because that’s the thing about artists: the festival schedule might say “done,” but the work is done when the work is right.

I stopped by today and got to see @emit_df, @existential_circus, @chelsealewinski and @tukeone continuing to build this incredible collaborative wall, along with @patrickkanemcgregor and his singular oil-painted technique. Grateful for the expert touch stenciling sponsor recognition, handled in such a way to respect the art. 🧡

There’s a particular glow the day after you pull off something this big - partly relief, mostly good vibes and deep gratitude. First and foremost, for the artists, chefs, brewers, musicians, dancers, and curators who gave so much of themselves, for our tiny-but-mighty team, for our board, our amazing volunteers, and our partners and sponsors, and for everyone who showed up and reminded us why we do this.

And already, somehow, we’re talking about next October.

For now, though, it’s a beautiful fall Monday in RiNo Art District. The paint is still going up, artists are still making things together, and neighbors are still stopping to watch in awe. The district looks a little different than it did a week ago - and in the immortal words of Bob Ross, every day is a good day when you are painting.

A beautiful new addition is blooming at Tantra Lake. 🦋🌸

“Blooming Reverie,” created by @existential.circus in collaboration with Street Wise Arts, brings color, movement, and new life to the Tantra Lake community.

Made possible through a grant from the Climate Equity Fund of Boulder County, the mural is part of a larger community-driven effort focused on climate adaptability, resilience, and food justice.

We’re grateful to Street Wise Arts, the artist, our residents, community partners, and everyone who helped bring this incredible work of art to life. Public art has a special way of transforming a space, telling a story, and creating a stronger sense of place and belonging.

Come see “Blooming Reverie” for yourself at Tantra Lake Apartments!

🎨 A new mural is taking shape in West Arvada!

Artist Adden Joule (@existential.circus) shares the inspiration behind “Veins of Gold,” his mural at the 66th Avenue underpass near the Arvada-Blunn Reservoir and Long Lake Regional Park.

The design draws inspiration from the surrounding prairie, Front Range landscapes, plants and history of Ralston Creek — with a thread of gold connecting it all.

Watch to hear the story behind the artwork, and keep an eye out as Veins of Gold comes to life this fall. Learn more at arvadaco.gov/1559.
