When the storm finally clears and the farm gets a few minutes of sunshine.

The Little Quarme animals pottering about, the countryside coming to life and a brief glimpse of blue sky over Exmoor.

Simple moments are the best ones. And here on our little farm, there’s always something to enjoy, whatever the weather decides to do next.

Planning on staying at Little Quarme Cottages? We have several guides on what to do this November. Whether you’re a walker or mountain biker!

🌊I want to thank Adam from the #WestCountryRiversTrust for giving us such an interesting afternoon at Forest School just before storm Austin came to give us a shake-up. 🌪️
It was a citizen science event, so learning about how to test the water for turbidity (new word for me), temperature & phosphates as well as what living beings are around the river too. We are now going to continue with this monthly.
💚
We also learnt about a new hair member to put Forest School community.......( Go on ask me!)
💚

You could argue we’re in the perfect spot for sunrises and sunsets. We’ll let the views speak for themselves.

Seed sowing with Generation Exmoor, a collection of three local schools who carry out activities to help with nature conservation and connect with our natural environment. 30 children helped to sow wildflower seeds in the meadows around Pinkery, and we sowed seeds to create plug plants to plant out in spring. Its great to connect and involve the next generation in the wonderful world of wildflowers.

Why would you book a wedding venue with a view like this? Let us give you three very good reasons.

First, the backdrop. Imagine your wedding photos with this view behind you. We really don’t think it needs much more explaining.

Second, the price. We might just surprise you. A countryside wedding doesn’t have to come with the price tag you’d expect.

Third, the freedom. At Little Quarme, your wedding is yours to plan. No set packages, no corkage charge and space for up to 60 day guests and 100 evening guests.

And if you want to turn your wedding into a proper getaway, our country cottages mean your guests can stay too.

Good views, more flexibility and a wedding that feels like you.

Fancy seeing it for yourself?
