🌍 Exploring the Wonders of Table Mountain! ⛰️✨

As part of our Cape Town History and Geography 5-day expedition, our young explorers embarked on an unforgettable journey up Table Mountain! Led by expert guides, they uncovered the secrets of this biodiversity hotspot, witnessing its unique flora and fauna while taking in the breathtaking landscapes around them.

Did you know? 🤔
🔹 Table Mountain, located in Cape Town, South Africa, is one of the city’s most iconic landmarks.
🔹 It is home to over 2,200 plant species - that’s more than the entire United Kingdom! 🌱
🔹 From the summit, you can take in stunning views of Cape Town and gaze at both the Atlantic and Indian Oceans. 🌊
🔹 Its flat-topped summit spans 3 km, making it one of the most recognisable natural formations in the world.
🔹 In 2011, Table Mountain was named one of the New7Wonders of Nature, celebrating its remarkable beauty and ecological importance. 🏆

🌍 10 Days. One Unforgettable Adventure. 🏔️

From the bustling streets of Arusha to the icy summit of Uhuru Peak (5,895m), this is what hiking Kilimanjaro’s Lemosho Route looks like—day by day, step by step.

We trekked through lush rainforests, crossed the vast Shira Plateau, scrambled up the iconic Barranco Wall, and pushed through the toughest night of our lives to stand on the Roof of Africa. But this journey wasn’t just about the summit - it was about resilience, teamwork, and the moments in between that made it all worth it.

Swipe through for the ultimate Kilimanjaro itinerary, from our first steps at Lemosho Gate to the moment we celebrated with our summit certificates! ✨

Whilst there is so much excitement around unboxing expedition gear, we know this journey will transform us in countless ways. With 2 weeks to go it’s time to prepare our minds for what lies ahead🏔️

We love to encourage our explorers to take some time to think about their purpose in going, by scribbling some of these thoughts in a journal, powerful tools of self-discovery and a platform for personal growth are created.

By articulating motivations and creating a clear vision of what we hope to gain from the experience, be that, personal growth, conquering a challenge, or connecting with nature it is a process that helps keep us focused and grounded, especially during difficult moments.

Having a written purpose provides clarity, goals, and deepens our connection to the journey, which we have seen culminate in a meaningful, transformative experience.
