A photo set from an early sunrise hike that reminded me that leaving my house at 1am to hike is so worth it…even if I question my life choices the whole way there 🤷🏻‍♂️ 🏔️

Frames from a beautiful summer day last year with @explorekananaskis and @kananaskisgolf .

I rarely share client work on here but I’d like to change that (the 100th time I’ve said this).

We’re not trying to sound any alarms here, but we are just WEEKS away from moments like this. ☀️

Road trip season, sunshine and lake days are all coming up, the stoke is building.

With the lakes mainly being snow covered (fingers crossed this warm weather resets them) it’s time to see the other kind of wild ice in the Rockies 🏔️

So ready for this again

This set is a mix of the few times I have been out here. Crazy how much this place changes every year. Stoked to see how it all looks this year!

Tell me you’re in Alberta without telling me… 😉

Our team had the best time cosplaying as cowboys at @boundaryranch and would definitely go again! 🐴

Winter is my favourite season in the Canadian Rockies (yes, I’m skipping right past fall 🙈). Probably not a surprise to anyone who knows me, but here’s the funny part: I hate being cold, so it makes no sense at all lol.

Still, there’s just something about winter here…the way the landscape transforms into another world entirely. If you’re willing to brave the cold, the beauty you’ll find is unlike anything else!

Last year was the first full winter I’d spent at home in years, and it left me feeling more inspired than ever. I can’t wait to see what this one brings 💙

With the rise of AI generated images I thought it would be a good time to reshare the ice mushroom.

The ice had first frozen on top of a stump, then melted, and later refroze, shaping itself into a chandelier like mushroom. Nature has this way of creating abstractions so beautiful they almost feel unreal.

Not sure if it’s necessary to say but these are not AI images. I photographed them back in 2022, just before generative AI really entered our everyday conversations.

AI has its place and has certainly been a helpful tool, but sometimes we do not need it to create images that seem impossible. Nature already does that! Natural ice mushroom chandelier formation in blue hour

To our thirsty community, Happy International Canned Cocktail Day. ✨

We can’t think of a better reason to celebrate on a Wednesday. So if you need an occasion to cheers tonight, now you have one. Cheers to canned cocktails.
