I wanted to reintroduce myself to all my new followers and those that don’t know exactly what I do..

Hi, I’m Erica York. 👋🏻 I’m a real estate developer and owner of @eycustomhomes, a commercial and residential licensed general construction company based out of Little Rock, Arkansas. I have over 15 years experience in real estate and construction. I love everything about the development and building process… here are the residential home building steps from start to finish. 🏠 (I’ll be making a more detailed video about my role in development soon… stay tuned! 😉)

Here’s another before and after series! This one is of our bedroom! I want to point out that I’ve never had a big bedroom in my entire life.. I don’t really understand the point of huge bedrooms most of the time considering I just sleep and change in them 😂 and i’ve also never had a big closet. So I wanted to make the most out of this small room and make it really stand out from the other bedrooms. We decided to vault the ceilings, add beams, and make the closet wayyyy bigger. We had the hallway closet knocked out and from there we could extend the master closet and the guest room closet on the other side of it. We also had custom baseboards (they are really tiny) to make the walls appear taller and modern window trim around the windows so there could be even more emphasis on the walls. We honestly love our bedroom so much and how cozy it is. Up next: custom modern closet doors being made by @grove_to_grail, curtain rods, curtains, rug, and even more plants •
