From Manhattan favorites to Brooklyn food finds, NYC did not disappoint! 🍕🥟🍝 And when you have two chefs in the family who are locals, choosing where to eat becomes a competitive sport! 😂

Good thing New York is a walking city!

I had been hearing everyone rave about @eyval_brooklyn for so long, I just knew that I had to check it out on my trip to New York. I was so impressed and am happy that Persian food is finally getting the recognition it deserves 🤍✨

October has been off to an amazing start in nyc! 🏙️✨🫶🏼🍨

Things to do:
Got an aura reading in Chinatown ✨ just a fun little activity if you’re in the area.
@shifka_nyc omg the oyster mushroom shawarma pita was insanely good. Actually so huge and filling!
The coffee at breakfast sandwich at @urbanbackyardnyc was 10/10. Not a ton of seating but it’s in SoHo so there’s always somewhere to sit.
If you’re in the mood for Persian you’ve gotta try @eyval_brooklyn! It’s a fun twist on usual traditional Persian food and tbh I loved it.
Oh, and 100% go to a @nyknicks game at MSG :) 🏀

NYC Top Savory Bites!
.
.
.
I recently got to spend a week in the Big Apple and finally feel like I've made a dent in my NYC to-eat list. It was an incredible week of eating...so good, in fact, that I need two separate posts to share my favorites. Without further ado, here's the recap of my top savory foods in order of consumption. Sweets and treats to come in a separate post!

Starting off strong, I made a beeline to @apollobagels
after we landed for a smoked salmon bagel and the beautiful, glorious, one-and-only tomato bagel. It was perfect. And I absolutely bought bagels on our last day to bring home.

So glad I got to go back to @eyval_brooklyn and bring my husband and a friend this time! For appetizers, the citrus date salad, eggplant, and barbary bread are excellent choices.

And I can't go to @eyval_brooklyn without ordering the lamb ribs. They are fall-off-the-bone tender and have a wonderful balance between the salty, rich meat and the tart and spicy brightness from the berries and peppers.

This pastrami, egg, and scallion cream cheese on an everything bagel from @libertybagelsny is my dream breakfast sandwich.

Grabbed a delightful meal from @goldenhofny before a Broadway show! This entire meal was a highlight, but this photo includes steak, banchan, and rice cake carbonara. I also recommend the cucumber salad. It's light, fresh, and a little nutty...just like me.

I've previously only had @auchevaldiner in it's original Chicago location, but we were blessed with this incredible burger in NYC this time!

Let's take a moment to admire this gorgeous box from @isshinsushinyc complete with rice, veggies, egg, and super fresh fish. It was a great light lunch!

Butter pepper garlic crab from @dhamakanyc would convert any crab skeptic into a believer.

I saw several recommendations for the goat biryani from @dhamakanyc , and the people were correct. It's large enough to feed a family of five, and it was incredible. We also loved the cooked, yet crunchy, texture and the richly spiced flavor of the okra. But be aware, it's a spicy little number.

The vodka slice from @mamas_too is elite.

My latke dreams came true @barneygreengrassnyc . Plus, they automatic
