The majority of the people in this pic are 1st gen #Americans and #Muslim. Today we joined hundreds of people in supporting and bringing awareness to the @akflosangeles mission to end global poverty. Closing the borders will keep out future citizens like us who use our talents for good. Is that what you intended? #TheRuleNotTheException #PartnershipWalk Thanks for another successful year @santamonicapier !

This morning I went back in my calendar to look up a meeting date and realized that something pretty special happened exactly one year ago today: I auditioned to play #NicoleHaught on @wynonnaearp . Little did I know that three days later I'd wake up in Calgary and my life would change. I read a quote once, "it's amazing how many nights it takes to become an overnight success". Thank you to my incredible family and friends for your unwavering support of my crazy career over the years and always picking me up when I fall down. To all the #Earpers and the #WynonnaEarp family who have filled my heart with so much positivity and support- I am so grateful to be part of this amazing community. To #emilyandras @idwpublishing @beausmithranch for entrusting me with the portrayal of this kick ass human. I know this is only one section of my journey but it has been one of the greatest highlights and it is safe to say Sept 21 will always be my lucky day. I am so proud and blessed to play this incredible woman- here's to many more adventures in her shoes! With incredible gratitude - ❤️Kat

Sometimes at #TIFF16, you just need to run in a dress during a thunderstorm with your girlfriends.
