Weather’s coolin down and YOU KNOW WHAT WILL BE HERE BEFORE WE ALL KNOW IT?! It made us a little nostalgic today going through some of these incredible photos by @mercibeauyou with their super special camera— a reminder again that we are so so blessed with talent in all parts of this community, not just the fiber. The annual RBF Symposium will be held the last Saturday of January again this year, Jan 30th, 2027! Save the date! And if you’re close to Cleveland, come to @oxboworchardohio this Friday for their final Friday but with a fiber twist! A portion of donations goes to the RBF to help us do the dang thing on January 30th, and keep it relatively accessible. We love this life-giving event so much, and we’d love to have another stellar one this Jan. Many many many more details to come about the symposium, but join us this Friday if you can, and if you can’t, we would so appreciate any donations through our link in bio. Thanks, all ❤️❤️❤️ Sarah and Jess

Here’s a preview of the new @faanware collection that’ll be available when we open tomorrow at 11am. There’s a range of organic cotton T-shirts dyed with iron, madder root, indigo, chestnuts, and pomegranate peels. (The ~sage green~ color (pomegranate peels) is currently an exclusive for the shop.) There’s also jackets, pants, and shorts in deadstock linen and basketweave cotton alongside various Japanese microplaids and crinkle cottons. All together, the release is a beautiful grouping of complimentary colors in lightweight, natural fibers — perfect for building a summertime wardrobe. @22by9 also made a run of 13 Mini Sumi Slings for the occasion – a perfect pouch for small necessary items, sewn and dyed by one person in El Cerrito. From 3-7 we’ll be throwing a party with wine from Carlos Camacho of Snail Bar, izakaya by Pour Manners, and a live set from Mark Aubert (at 6) Hope to see you there!

I am an over-packer. HOWEVER, if I were to pack light…I would bring the Hugh Crossbody, BER Bag, and a layered core outfit to easily switch up my looks.
