Artist Spotlight: Dita 💎

Since first diving into the electronic music scene in 2012, Lauren DiTaranto aka Dita has developed a sound that reflects a broad and genuine love of music. Rather than being confined to one lane, she draws from a wide range of influences, allowing her sets to move fluidly between moods, grooves, and textures while maintaining a cohesive energy throughout.

What stands out most about her approach is her focus on the dance floor. She treats every set as a conversation with the crowd, responding to the room in real time and building moments that feel both intentional and immersive. The result is a style that is less about showcasing tracks individually and more about creating a shared experience through the music.

We’re excited to welcome Dita back to fader.locals this Friday at The Nest inside St. Pete Brewing. Arrive early and settle in for a journey built on connection, movement, and sound.

Artist Spotlight: K80 💥

K80 (Katie Stadler) is a techno DJ and producer whose sets blend hypnotic techno and hardgroove with a focus on movement, tension, and intentional sound selection. Influenced by an early foundation in jazz and shaped by years in the underground scene, she gravitates toward groove-driven tracks, rhythmic textures, and moments that reward patience on the dancefloor.

Based in the Tampa Bay area, K80 is an active part of Florida’s underground electronic music community. Outside of music, Katie works as a molecular technologist, spending her days in the laboratory and her nights exploring her lifelong dedication to sound.

Really special night with @fader.events a couple weekends ago. I was tasked with capturing the vibes and energy of the room but was asked to only use the lighting in the room, no extra flash.

I have started to embrace the noisy/grainy looks to my photos and have been absolutely loving them. Definitely will be doing this style again📸

Built for the Underground 👽

A formidable warehouse and a crowd fully attuned to the occasion.

This past weekend in St. Petersburg, @fader.events and @in8rytms delivered the kind of gathering that continues to define the underground at its strongest. A tightly tuned environment took shape, with every element placed in service of the music, never in competition for attention.

The curation was especially sharp. A bill built on pairings unfamiliar to many still unfolded with remarkable coherence, each set extending the logic of the last and deepening the atmosphere rather than breaking it apart. Programming of that kind depends on trust, not only from promoters, but from a crowd willing to arrive without demanding obvious names or easy familiarity.

The community rewarded that trust. The energy held for hours, carried by a genuine audience, a powerful sound system, and lighting restrained enough to preserve focus rather than dilute it. Nothing felt overstated. Nothing felt performative. Everything felt placed with intention.

At a moment when many events still confuse impact with scale, nights like this offer a useful reminder: a committed crowd, thoughtful sequencing across the bill, and an environment built around sound are often more than enough.
