POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
The beginning of a new story. ✨

And just like that, the wedding series comes to an end (at least for now, hehe).

It felt like sharing warm memories on a cold, cold day. A mad, fun filled, stressful to begin with day, three months of intense planning, from clothes and details to decor and venue, lighting and food and everything in between, but something we both will never forget. Alhamdulillah x infinity.

As always, requesting tons of duas, because we all know flashy photos and smiled filled shots aren’t the things that make a marriage. And for that, we’ll always be in need of sincere duas from the bottom of your hearts.

Please say a dua everytime you see something cute and warm, May Allah preserve all of our joys. Ameen.

May Allah increase those married, in love and mawaddah, grant them sakeenah in their spouses and happiness in their lives full of understanding, compromise and wisdom. And all those who are searching for spouses, may Allah make the treacherous path easy and help all in reaching their calm after the intense storms. Ameen!

Now to back to sharing adventure posts after a few weeks of utter cheese! 🤓

A pretty magical day. Alhamdulillah ✨

I thought many times on how to start this post, but couldn’t find the right words.

But this post (as cliche as it sounds!) is dedicated to all of our family and friends who showed up to celebrate with us on the day.

I don’t think I’ve ever walked into a room FULL of people and felt so much at ease even with the nerves of being a ‘bride’, the reality of EVERYONE staring at us (specifically at ME) was so horribly daunting.

But I remember the sudden warmth we felt on a cold june weekend with amber weather warnings, a sense of comfort knowing everyone in the room was there for us, to celebrate us, to have a good time with us!? It helped to play the Covid Card and keep the numbers super low (especially given our cultural backgrounds), but the emotions were so raw and real.
Alhamdulillah.

It was small, and intimate and we missed our fam and friends who couldn’t be there due to geographical reasons, ever so dearly.

And an even more of a special shout-out to my dearest friends who saw the *bridezilla* in me even when I thought I was over the worst of it with the Covid Nikaah. From cakes, to signage, to decor, to speeches, the flowers, to hugs and messages of love and support, everything was felt so dearly.

Alhamdulillah for people Allah places in our lives. What a true blessing to have love celebrated and shared with those who love you.

May Allah keep our lives full of blessed relations and may we be of those who are the best of people to others too with only the purest of intentions. Ameen!

Ps, every time I make a reel I can’t thank people enough who took Vids/Live Photos as our videographer did a runner. 🙃

And these are the only moving digital memories we have!
