@faejosierae has a guess who the SHADOW PRINCESS is 🖤 and she BET A HABANERO on it 🌶️ ✨

If you’re new around here, welcome!! We’re @whimsyspicepod a spoiler-read, read-along style Romantasy podcast, currently deep-diving the power-hungry world of Solaria.

@madelinethefae has read all four series set place in this world while @faejosierae is on her FIRST time. She makes predictions about what she think will happen, and if she’s feeling REALLY good about it (or it’s just really important), she’ll make a PEPPER PROPHECY, where she’ll bet a pepper on it. If the prophecy doesn’t come true, she has to eat that pepper!!! 🌶️

We’ve covered books 1-3 of Zodiac Academy, now streaming wherever you get your podcasts 😉 and will be switching to the prequel series Ruthless Boys of the Zodiac by @carolinepeckham and @susanne_valenti on August 19th.

Be sure to hit follow so you never miss an update!

And if you haven’t finished the series, comment or DM your guess for who the Shadow Princess is! 🖤✨

Zodiac Academy by @susanne_valenti and @carolinepeckham is one of those series that sneaks up on you.

Book 1… good… you wanna know what happens next
Book 2… things are ramping up…
Book 3…. You’re lost in the sauce of buttery bagels and suddenly haven’t looked at anything else on your TBR in months

And idk about you, but I all I wanted to do was TALK about Zodiac Academy while I was reading it.

🌀 CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT HAPPENED
😭 I CANT STOP SOBBING
🐉 IM SO FREAKING MAD
🥵 THAT WAS SO HOT

And that’s how @whimsyspicepod got started.

As a place for readers (first-timers, re-readers, and mega fans alike) to deep-dive and spin out over Solaria together!

We’re so grateful to have already had nearly 500 people around the world join us. And can’t wait for our many, many, MANY more adventure ahead.

TO THE QUEENS ❤️🔥💙

Good Morning Leo, the stars have spoken about your day!!! 🦁 💋✨

On this 32nd rotation around the sun, you’ll find yourself with luck on your side. Your current projects are coming into place, and you’ll see the rewards for your efforts shortly. Now it’s time to reach for the moon, and then the stars farthest away, because your capability is endless.

Be on the lookout for a Capricorn today that is your ally on your current mission and will have your back when tested. Together, you’ll achieve your dreams and laugh the whole way ✨

🌀🌀🌀🌀

Thanks for being my Nebula Ally and whimsical queen, @faejosierae 🫶🏻

I’m so grateful for you. Your friendship, intellect, drive, compassion, and quirkiness. The mirror you hold up to the world is one of truth but filtered through kindness and understanding. Your ability to hold so much and give so much, while maintaining your sense of self and boundaries inspires me every day.

The way you let yourself be silly, playful, and dedicated should be studied… actually could you bottle it up and give me some? 😬

The way you find purpose through your relationships with people, animals, and your garden is a reminder to us all be present and connected in the moment 💖

Thanks for being my friend, through all of the moments, distance, and change.

Thanks for being here today and laughing with me for an ungodly amount of hours when you could be doing anything else than talking about a fantasy mirror world with dragon shifters and bitey professors.

Thanks most of all, for sharing you with us 🥹 your true self with no mask or performance. The world is a better place because you let yourself shine on all of us ☀️

Xoxo, Madeline

P.S. I tried to make a post that would make Geraldine proud. Hope you like it 💕

Have you heard about that study where people estimated the difficulty of climbing up a hill as significantly easier when doing it with a friend?! Like…. A huge challenge was literally perceived as easier JUST because a bestie was with them?! 😱

The challenge itself didn’t change… objectively, it’d physically take the same amount of effort, time, risk, etc, but because they had someone they love and trust and respect with them they perceive the challenge as easier 🥹

This finding is so beautiful to me because it perfectly highlights why friendship (and really all relationships, including community) is foundational to our happiness, well-being, and living fulfilling lives.

If anything is inevitable, it’s that life will have challenging moments that feel like they’ll break you 😩

You don’t know how you’ll make it through.

You’re one moment away from collapse.

And then your friend asks you to read a book about a girl that goes into the woods alone, kills a wolf, has an incredible journey of self-discovery, forgiveness, and resilience … and it saves you.

On the surface, that seems like a joke, but if you’ve ever been in that space, the one where all you can think about is giving up, you know it’s not.

And it’s also not just the stories that save us.

It’s feeling understood and seen and connecting over these stories with other people. It gives us the words and safety to be vulnerable with our inner worlds.

Beyond survival and connection though, there’s this next level too.

Which is being brave and creating a life you truly want.

One that feels magical and huge and electric.

Ones I believe are inspired by our books, but are followed through with the help of our friends.

Pursuing a dream, learning a new skill, writing a book, (starting a podcast 🤭) with your best friend, doesn’t reduce the work, but it sure makes it less scary.

Building and creating and being inspired by our friends is the most human thing we can do ❤️

Happy best friends day!!! Send this to a friend who makes you feel brave and believe in yourself! 🫶🏻
