👁️ 🔴 👁️ Last week’s @lacma Art Parade was made up of the brilliant Los Angeles I adore so much. Dreamers and makers and do-ers and come-as-you-are-ers, keep your heads held high and in the clouds, always. I’ll meet you there. ☁️ (and, yeah, the @freaknaturepuppets creeps made us look good, too).

Such a pleasure to be a giant Wiz foot with the best; hoping for a next year🤞!!!

One day you'll get an audition for a puppet theater and it's very important you show up to that audition.

Congrats to @fagogo and Alex Evans for fundraiser that will live on in infamy! And to every single person at @bobbakermarionettes for being the most creative, passionate, loving community. I am so inspired by every single one of you. We’re in LA to stay…FOREVER!!

It’s always good vibes at @bobbakermarionettes, but especially when it’s adults-only night at the puppet theater!

A roundup of photos from their 3rd Annual Costume Ball. I wish I could fit twenty more in this post.

In the early aughts—and in service of our mission to do, well, just about whatever the hell we wanted—we wallpapered ourselves, our loved ones, and almost anything else that would stay still long enough. This is Do What You Want, a song off our second studio album, Oh No. Today, that album turns 20. Time moves in funny ways.

Co-directed by @damiankulash, @jameskfrost, and @fagogo.

A fantastic site visit to Outside In, a new theater on the LA scene in Highland Park, where @lacountyarts kicked off a new series of @countyofla Arts Commission meetings out in the arts community! It was a joy to see our LA County grantee @outsideinthtr new theatre space and big plans, and hear from another fabulous grantee organization @bobbakermarionettes building on 60+ years of puppetry, children’s theater, and the allied arts, in LA. 🌟❤️#LACountyArts #arts #theater

I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again: people who like puppets are my kind of people.

Check out how my passion project at The Metropolitan Water District Of Southern California and The Wonderful & Historic Bob Baker puppeteers created and developed an educational experience celebrating “water is life!” and making an inspiring call to action to make “every drop count!” …This creative collaboration & performance was about a year in the making, and I am so proud of this partnership, outreach and bridges that were built from my organization into this beautiful & diverse community!! HOPE YOU ENJOY IT!!
