Today, I’m incredibly grateful to share that I am now a Certified Marriage Counsellor & Family Life Coach. 🎓✨
For years, I have been passionate about helping people navigate relationships, family life, communication and the many seasons that come with building a home and a life together.

Now, I’m honoured to take that passion a step further ,with the knowledge, training and professional foundation to support individuals, couples and families more intentionally.

I believe healthy relationships don’t happen by accident. They require understanding, communication, emotional awareness, intentionality and sometimes, the courage to ask for help.

Through Family Tips Consulting, I’ll be creating a safe and supportive space where individuals and couples can gain clarity, strengthen their relationships, navigate challenges and build healthier family dynamics.

This certification is not just another qualification for me. It is a responsibility I deeply value and a calling I’m excited to continue growing into.
Here’s to helping more people love better, communicate better, heal, grow and build homes where everyone feels seen, heard and valued.

After Nysc in 2014, a friend that we went to Uni together put to bed and we went for the naming ceremony. The naming ceremony was more like a reunion for us.

We got talking and at some point a friend asked about my relationship with my then bf that was outside the country.

So I told her he stopped picking my calls nor communicating with me so I can’t really say where the relationship stands. I was heartbroken.

That friend invited me for a wedding at Ibadan that she would like me to come and meet with some people and use that time to mingle but the tailor I gave my cloth messed up with the cloth so I couldn’t attend the wedding.

I went for a job interview and on my way back, my phone rang and it was that my friend, she told me she already told someone about me on the day of the wedding but I couldn’t make it and as we spoke she told me she gave the person my contact and he might reach out to me.

She requested my picture and sent it to the guy. He later reached out to me and asked me to tell him about myself which I did.

We got along really well and I told him my experience with the guy I was dating, told him I’m still trying to heal. He kept calling and we got along so well and one of his favorite songs was that of 2face and he always sang it for me to cheer me up.

All these happened between September/November 2014.

We started getting serious & I traveled to Ilorin so we can see each other and talk very well and that was when the relationship began.

I told him I was in the relationship for marriage, that if he is not ready for marriage we can quit but he said something positive will come out of it.

We both traveled back to Lagos and he invited me for his friend’s wedding and after the wedding he took me home to meet his parents .

I also invited him to my house to meet my parents. His parents called my parents that they’ll love to come and see them to discuss about us which they did .

After some months he proposed and I accepted. The courtship was for 8months. We got married at the registry on August 13 2015 and the Nikkah was August 15 2015.

It has been almost a decade of love and bliss and I’m so glad I made the decision.
