Who remembers this forgettable movie… THE SUPERMAN MOVIE SPECIAL Volume 1, issue 1 1983 I thought the addition of the Warner Bros. communications logo being added to the indicia of the book was kinda cool. It’s sort of legitimized comics in a way. I don’t think I ever saw this film in an actual theater. Maybe I waited until it was on television? Either way, I’ve always I’ve never really cared for the trope of hero fights duplicate of himself. It seemed exciting and X-Men issue 100 way back when but it’s so overused. 🤷‍♂️ I don’t care for inserting a popular comedian into a popular property. I guess it kind of worked but there’s just the baggage of having “known” face in the cast. OTOH I didn’t mind Jack Black and Lizzo in that episode of the Mandalorian. Different strokes, right? If you have any thoughts on this film drop them in here. Thanks.
