POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

📚 N•O•V•E•M•B•E•R 📚

I can't believe the month is half over! It's been a busy one with no signs of slowing down, so my reading (and posting) is taking a bit of a hit, but I'm getting it in when I can!

Thanks to @stormbornarchive for challenging me to spell out the month. I cheated a little with titles starting with "The" but I'm just impressed I had two (mostly) starting with "E"

And yes, that is an apron of books 😆 Sunday is a cooking day! I'm making a pumpkin stew tonight 😋

Tagging a few friends if they wanna spell the month too!

⁉️QOTD: how are you spending your Sunday? Or what non-bookish item do you have that is still book themed?

🖤 Library Checkouts 📚

I'm a big library lover - so much that I left my 9-5 to make a career change, with working at a library being a dream. And now, I do!!

So, when @theliteraryescapade tagged me to share my current library checkouts, I was thrilled!

Now, working at a library means my hold list is out of control! I have 53 things on hold between physical and Libby books 😅😅

I recently put all the physical books on hold to try to read some of my physical tbr at home, but these are the current gems from my now second home. Mostly spooky, of course!

☠️ The White Guy Dies First edited by Terry J. Benton-Walker on Libby
🏠 Play Nice by Rachel Harrison physical book
🪑 Discontent by Beatriz Serrano physical bok
🌄 This Wretched Valley by Jenny Kiefer on Libby

Tagging a few friends to share their library checkouts if they have any, but if you see this, please share! Let's show our library love.

⁉️QOTD: what's your dream job? Or what's the last book you got from the library?

💃🏻Kitchen Dance Party: Author Edition 🕺🏻

⁉️QOTD: what author would you invite to a kitchen dance party? Or what's your go-to song to dance it out?

There are so many authors with books I want to read, but here are just a few coming to my kitchen party. Anyone else just dance around like an idiot in their homes sometimes? Poor Alfie routinely gets dragged into my antics 😅

Thanks to @sirenbee_readsnthings who tagged me to share authors with a book I've read and a book I want to read! Naturally, I had to be a dork about it.

Tagging a few people in case they want to join (no dancing needed 😆). Or if you see this and want to share your author faves, consider yourself tagged!

♓ Zodiac Stack Challenge ♓

Calling all my dreamy, mystical fishes!

I'm a girl who does enjoy some astrology and have always felt very much like a Pisces - sensitive (...or emotional as some would say 😅), intuitive and kinda wanna live in my own world. Which is why I love books so much!

Thanks @booksopenmouthsshut for tagging me in this Zodiac Stack Challenge. Feels particularly right to do just after a full moon!

⁉️QOTD: do you like astrology? What's your sign and do you think it reflects you at all?

P - Parable of the Sower by Octavia E. Butler
I - I am an Island by Perla Bollo
S - Sanaaq by Mitiarjuk Nappaaluk
C - Crosses in the Sky by Mark Bourrie
E - Elegy for Opportunity by Natalie Lim @river_street_writes
S - Sleepers by Lorenzo Carcaterra

Tagging a few friends in case they wanna join. And if you see this, consider yourself tagged!

Tagging a few others to join, but as always, no pressure. And if you wanna share your red books, I wanna see 'em!

This #flatlayfriday is dedicated to all of the books on my immediate TBR. These are the ones I’m itching to get to, if only there were more hours in the day!! I tend to separate my tbr into “immediate” reads that I want to get to right away and “someday” reads that I want to read but with less urgency.

Tagging some friends to share their immediate TBRs!!

✨QOTD Top sheet: yay or nay? I have been informed that the younger generations are moving away from top sheets and I am stunned. Diehard top sheet user here.😆✨
