Legendary Moves: Most interesting thing in brand at Day 3 of Advertising Week? At the heart of creativity is ownership. Your films. Your identity. Your taglines. Your songs. Your images. The IP that makes a brand yours. This is the most important AI conversation in creativity no one is having. With AI how do we make sure we own output? OpenArt AI, a creative production platform, can track the human vs. machine contribution to creative assets. Copyright requires sufficient human creative control. AI can help make the work. But can you prove the human fingerprint—and protect what you created? More in the vid. Follow Far From Timid for our Storyboard Principle—the creative stack for making with AI while protecting what you create. What a gift to have this conversation and be with such radiant people Raj Gajwani Bonin Bough Kevin Swanepoel Cc: 72andSunny Portrait Media Group OpenArt AI #legendarymoves #advertisingweek #creativity #ai #copyrightlaw

It seems like a good time to discuss balls. In the last two weeks, we lost Dolly Parton and Gloria Steinem. A few months earlier, we lost Judy Pace. Three very different women who understood something about courage, self-possession and taking up space. For as long as we can remember, courage has been inexplicably stored in a man’s scrotum. If a man stands up to his boss, he has balls. If a woman stands up to her boss, she also has balls... Read more. Link in bio to the ‘Stack.

Very excited that a brilliant film I worked on, Grief Room, in partnership with Seismic Foundation, directed by the Bafta-winning directer Sindha Agha and produced by Cornershop's Anna Hashmi and Seismic's Sander Volten is premiering at the Edinburgh International Film Festival. So proud. Starring Emily Beecham, Daily Bevan, and Louisa Harland.

Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity exists for a reason: creativity. Before the metrics. Before the media plans. Before the optimization. This year, I’m interested in the things that make our industry worth caring about. The AI conversation is important, and my attention is on the creative process itself—how we make, shape, edit, and refine ideas into culture. And where AI fits in. Ethically. Thoughtfully. Without making us stupid. Let’s honor the craft. Let’s stay curious. Far From Timid is hosting a beach salon on Wednesday and Thursday for creatives, strategists, and anyone curious about who owns what we make in the age of AI—and how creator and company brands become lasting legacies. All while drinking pastis and playing pétanque. RSVP link in bio: #legendmakers #farfromtimid #canneslions #canneslions2026 #propellerlist

Congrats to The Webby Awards on the occasion of their 30th Anniversary! What? In 2009 I won my first Webby. It’s a really tender memory. I was running my first agency and there weren’t many women agency owners back then, but had an incredibly loyal staff like Carl Waldron and brilliant clients like Steve Gross, Silvian Rosario, Richard Born, and Nancy Friedman. Just had a feature in Crain’s, but there was something so important about receiving a document that said my agency was recognized by the International Academy of Digital Arts & Sciences. It felt like getting recognition from NASA or MENSA. Congrats Jesse Feister and to all those who make this incredible honor something I’m still so proud to share with the world. Share your first memory! I want to hear! #webbyawards #legendmaker #executivecreativedirector

Don’t make a mess. Thing is, if you’re using AI tools and go from AI tool to publish, you don’t own the thing. Brands and entertainment companies need to own the thing. Here is how you can own the thing: The Storyboard Principle. The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good people to do nothing. * * * Dear Friends, The past weeks have been nothing short of torture. The hostages return, piece by piece, but the pain lingers, gnawing at us all. We can’t begin to imagine the agony of the hostages and their families. Our symbol — two interlocking hearts, is a symbol of love for our identity. This is our gift to the world. We created it to speak louder than words. It is our embrace, a quiet but powerful reminder that you are seen, you are loved, and you are never alone. We are with you. Always. Shabbat Shalom, The Global Love Mafia Our founder @alonaverse added an embrace to our symbol. Pls share if it inspires you. #heartofdavid #bringthemhome #weloveyou #loveconquersall #love

Less than 1% of North American ad agencies are owned and run by women. Christy Hiler of Cornett is actively helping reshape our industry. Today, she had me on the Until You Own It podcast to talk about my journey and it was a beautiful experience (will let you know when it airs). We went down memory lane and inspired to share when I had my first agency 321 Takeoff and was launching a showroom for my lifestyle brand on E. 3rd Street in the east village, what is now Far From Timid. These are some highlights from the launch party. The Hells Angels were located across the street and of course you have to make friends with neighbors so Blues came for the launch! #womenowned #untilyouownit #badassbidge #farfromtimid
