I’ve got the post-travel blues so bad. It’s gonna be hard to top this Airbnb @farfallacollective 💗

After long stretches of grueling work on the house, I decided to take a break and celebrate my dear friend @johnson8_27 for his birthday. I found an eclectic #getaway on @airbnb nestled in woods of rural Georgia. @farfallacollective provided just what we needed to take a break from hectic city life and commune with nature. Only about an hour’s drive from Athens this secluded little piece of heaven offered everything we needed to rest and unplug for the night. Only 8 minutes from the Alpine village of Helen, GA where we had dinner, it really was the Treehouse Terrace that made the trip memorable. The view was incredible and we slept soundly and awoke to the sun shining through the trees. Highly highly #recommend. Did I mention the #outdoortub?#minivacay #tinyhouse

Time away to relax and reset before school starts back. Had a great time staying with @farfallacollective . Tucked away, yet still close.

First father-son “camping” trip with Linc to celebrate his 5th birthday. You’re a man now, son. Shoutout to @k_arden_w who just casually throws outings like this together. We love you!

Going through yet another transitional season and nature said “come here, bestie,” so I did. 🍃

Itinerary (some not pictured):
-First night stay was in the “green dome” hosted by @farfallacollective and spotted a herd of deer otw back from the bathhouse. Waking up to the sound of rain was better than my white noise pandora station.
-Stopped at this olive oil and balsamic vinegar tasting. Left with 6 samples 🤩
-Lunch in Helen at Campfire
-Then checked in to the cutesttt tiny home in NC, close to the border. Fresh eggs, an amazing view, steaks on the grill + a hot tub. I never wanted to leave.
-Otw back to Atlanta, we tried to find a waterfall but instead spent 30+ minutes driving up the side of mountains which was still a cool experience.

sharing the video version on TT.

Just 1.5 hours from Atlanta, tucked away in the dreamy Blue Ridge Mountains, we found a little slice of magic @farfallacollective

Every cabin, deck, and cozy nook here was built by the owners themselves, every board and brick tells a story.

Add in fresh mountain air, nonstop laughs, and my favorite people… pure perfection. 💛🏞️

Helen photo dump. We got it on Wednesday and left this morning. Was an amazing week off. The @singervehicledesign DLS was the highlight of my visit. Never thought I’d see a singer Porsche, much less a DLS. Was great to see several cars we had worked on selected to be out on the show field.
