💚Making fresh juice leaves us with lots of fruit and veggie pulp! Thankfully @ty.compostguy turns it all into nutrient-rich compost that helps grow more beautiful organic produce for us to juice. We love seeing it all come full circle. 🌱

I felt little in this crazy chair. The pizza was great and the day was great. I recommend a walk on trip to Kingston for lunch. It really was a good time.

The hands in the soil. The early mornings. The hard work of growing something that matters.

This National Farmers Day, we’re tipping our hats (and raising our cans) to the people who feed our communities, care for our land, and remind us that a better food system starts at the roots.

We’re farmer-founded, soil-obsessed, and forever in their corner. Because when we take care of the people who take care of the earth, we all grow a little better.

Here’s to the mad farmers making a difference, with soil in their hands and a lot of soul in their heart.

A little compost, a few seeds, and a whole lot of community! 🌱

Thank you to @farmhandfoundation for sharing your incredible homemade Johnson-Su compost, and to all our members, neighbors, and friends who joined us for seed ball making!

Our seed balls are packed with organic California native wildflower seeds to support pollinators, boost biodiversity, and bring a little more beauty to our community. Perfect to make before these rains come in! 🐝🌼

Love events like these? Help us keep them free and accessible! Every donation to our Gather in the Garden fundraiser is being matched dollar for dollar by a generous donor. That means twice the impact!

💚 RSVP and donate through the link in our bio!

Apparently, putting down roots in Ojai now comes with a board seat. 🌱

Happy to share that a few months ago I’ve joined the board of @farmhandfoundation — and in celebration of DAF Day, I submitted a $20,000 grant from my donor-advised fund to support their beautiful work.

Beyond giving my time, I wanted to give them something they can actually pay bills with.

So… who’s matching my $20k today? 👀

One generous friend or a few of us together—let’s make it $40k for Farmhand.

Your DAF has had enough rest. Let’s wake that money up—no reason to leave it sitting there when we have farmers to help. 🤍🌱
