LPF PODCAST: Introducing @theluxurypropertyforum Podcast.

What does it really take to operate at the very top of the luxury property market?

Behind every exceptional property is a network of specialists, each bringing their own knowledge, expertise and perspective. But how much do we really know about the disciplines we work alongside?

For seven years, The LPF has brought these professionals together, creating a space for meaningful conversations, shared knowledge and collaboration.

Now, we’re taking those conversations beyond the room.

Hosted by our founder and CEO, @priya.rawal.london, the podcast brings you candid conversations with the specialists shaping luxury property: how they work, where things come unstuck, and what they wish every client understood from the start.

We begin with The LPF Lowdown, our series of short, focused conversations, one guest and one subject at a time. Our first episode, out on Tuesday 3 November, features @beckyfatemi, Executive Partner at @uksothebysrealty, on where the world’s wealthiest buyers are looking now.

Conversations. Connections. Clarity.

Read The LPF Insider for our upcoming guests and how to get involved, via the link in our bio.

International Women’s Day Breakfast | The Whiteley, London

There is something incredibly powerful about a room full of women who are all operating at the top of their game.

This morning, we brought together over 70 female leaders from across the luxury property and private client sectors at @thewhiteleylondon. Not for a panel. Not for a performance. But for a conversation.

Hosted in Apartment 304 South, designed by RH Contract at. The Whiteley developed by LPF members Valouran, the setting was exceptional. But what made the morning was the honesty in the room.

Because even now, at the highest levels, too many women are still holding back slightly. Softening their voice. Questioning whether to say the thing they know is right.

Not because they lack ability. But because that’s what the system has taught us to do.

And yet, for the first time in history, women can do anything they choose to do. That is not a small thing. But it also doesn’t mean the work is done.

We were so fortunate to have @caroline.donaghue and Beatrice Ronchetti @personalbranding_bybeatrice lead the conversation. What they shared wasn’t about confidence in the way we often talk about it. It was about clarity. About trusting your instincts. About having the courage to take up space fully, without apology.

Because how you show up matters. It shapes the opportunities you’re given, the rooms you’re invited into, and how your value is understood.

At The LPF, this isn’t a one-off moment. It’s something we are deeply committed to. This industry has been imbalanced for a long time. It is our responsibility to help shift that, to back the women already leading, and to encourage those coming through to step forward and realise what they are capable of.

International Women’s Day Breakfast | The Whiteley, London

An elegant morning in London, bringing together the women of @theluxurypropertyforum for our annual International Women’s Day breakfast, held within the exceptional setting of @thewhiteleylondon.

Hosted in Apartment 304 South, designed in partnership with RH Contract, the space created the right environment for purposeful, honest conversation among over 70 female leaders across the luxury property and private client sectors. Conversations centred on leadership, authenticity and what it really means to step forward with clarity and confidence in a fast-moving industry.

There is something incredibly powerful about a room like that. Not just the calibre of women in it, but the openness of the discussion.

For the first time in history, women can do anything they choose to do. And yet, gender disparity still runs through many aspects of our professional and personal lives. There is still work to be done, but the direction of travel is shifting.

We were delighted to welcome Beatrice Ronchetti @personalbranding_bybeatrice and @caroline.donaghue of The Power Lunch Club as our speakers. The conversation went beyond surface-level confidence. It focused on listening to your intuition, being clear on what you want, and having the courage to use your voice fully.

A theme that came through strongly was how easy it is, even at the highest level, to hold back slightly. To soften views. To stay just within the lines. Not because of lack of ability, but because it feels safer. But how you show up shapes everything. The opportunities that come your way, the rooms you are invited into, and how your value is understood.

At The LPF, we are immensely proud of the number of women within our community, and across our own senior leadership team. This industry has long been imbalanced. It is our responsibility to help shift that, to champion the leadership already present, and to encourage the next generation of women to step forward and realise what they are capable of.

From corporate wellness days & coaching programs to somatic, trauma-informed workshops - working with law firms, hotels, shopping centres & communities to share the medicine of breathwork & the power of somatic therapy has been a true career highlight 🤍

Through somatic practices, breathwork & coaching, I guide individuals to regulate their nervous system, create supportive daily routines, use meditation visualisations and written exercises to rebalance work and life, gain insights, learn practical tools & build resilience to navigate stress, high-pressure environments, long hours, heavy responsibilities & challenging dynamics.

I’ve also designed a somatic breathwork methodology that’s accessible to all, helping people tap into the body & mind’s natural ability to heal, build resilience, & shift unhelpful patterns. In corporate wellness, this approach supports organisational objectives while prioritising employees’ health, wellbeing, and sustainable performance.

We explore #thebodykeepsthescore — how disconnection from the body is often the mind’s way of coping & avoiding. While protective short-term, it quietly drive cycles of chronic stress, burnout, overworking, avoidance, isolation, addictions or difficulty asking for support.

Chronic stress, burnout, and old patterns often start in a dysregulated nervous system, with fight, flight, and freeze responses stored from past experiences — reinforced by negative thoughts and limiting beliefs. Through somatic practices, you can reconnect with your body, re-attune to your needs, and step out of survival mode to transform old patterns into #sustainableperformance, #worklifebalance #jobsatisifaction

LPF INSIDER: Post-Budget Analysis. A critical review of the UK landscape

We are proud to share insights from LPF members @thelondonbroker (Charlie Willis), @verveconcepts (Barry Millar), @knightfrankfinance (Simon Gammon), @farrerandco (Claire Randall) and Neil Bantel of @deutschebank following their recent panel discussion moderated by Jonathan Prynn of The London Standard. This event brought together leading figures from London’s luxury property, finance, and tax sectors to analyse the impact of the latest UK Budget on the prime market.

The panel delivered a stark message, agreeing that while some feared tax changes were avoided, the Budget ultimately represented a missed opportunity to unlock growth and restore confidence. Key issues identified included the "mansion tax" being viewed as political rather than economic , the urgent need for planning reform , and the missed chance to address stamp duty blockages. There was a strong consensus that a decisive, pro-growth agenda is essential to maintain the UK's global appeal.

With expertise spanning super-prime brokerage, construction, finance, and law, the group highlighted that whilst London’s legal system and culture remain strong attractions, the cumulative effect of regulatory changes is pushing investment to other jurisdictions. The discussion emphasised that the UK cannot meet housing targets without a fundamental shift in how planning is resourced.

At @londndiplomat we organised a breakfast masterclass for the diplomatic community in London on ‘Getting the Most Out of Party Political Conferences.’ Despite the tube strikes we had a full house of Heads of Mission & political counsellors/ attachés.

Thank you for the brilliant insights & practical advice from our speakers:
- Jehad Mustafa of Farrer & Co
- John Watts of Forward Global
- Baroness Thangam Debbonaire, senior Labour peer & former Shadow Leader of the House of Commons
- Rt Hon Stephen Crabb former Cabinet Minister & The Conservative Party MP
- Alex Just of Forward Global

Advice offered: it’s essential for diplomats to attend the major party conferences to gauge the political mood, witness the direction of policy & build their personal network. Break out of the international lounges to focus on direct access to decision makers & meet journalists. These trips can be a good opportunity to link with local businesses in the region & local diaspora groups. Pre-planning is essential!

Thank you to Jehad Mustafa & our friends at @farrer_co for hosting us in their beautiful space & to Forward Global & Co for sharing their expertise
