Skalar Festival 2026. @skalarfestival

Looking back at these pictures feels like remembering a vivid dream.

So grateful I got to experience this, and even happier to say I was part of the crew who helped build it. Thank you to all the cuties from my new Berlin family @beyond_collective_berlin I can’t wait to create more beautiful things with you. Each of you has a very special place in my heart.

It’s so beautiful to see what LOVE can make: love for music, love for art, love for community, love for humanity.

This is also a friendly reminder to myself that a safe space is a place free of judgment — a place for creative freedom, self-expression, and deep respect.

Skalar family, it was a pleasure to be part of this. Let’s hope love brings more opportunities and that this can happen again.

Wenn gemeinsam Träume wahr werden... Was ein Festival, was eine Insel, was ne Crew, was ne Crowd und was ein morgen!

When dreams come true together... What a festival, what an island, what a crew, what a crowd and what a morning!
Since I fell in love with downtempo only 2 years ago at the Mystics events, it was super special to hear that the Mystics wanted us from the BeYond collective there to turn their beautiful island into a magical parallel world.
That @thisisrakaethe and I were booked to heat up the mainfloor for @horst.haller was literally a dream come true. Just beautiful and incredibly exciting to dance to your own favorite tracks and your first own productions on such a sound system.
And I will literally never forget how many of our favorite people lost themselves in the music, smiling brightly and dancing wildly in the heat. We can hardly wait for the next adventures together.
Big big thank you to the @mystic.creatures_ who made dreams come true for so many people in Poland.

I wanted to do this for a long time, but I was waiting for the right photo:) Some time ago my beloved bike was stolen in Berlin - I called her/him Sasha. It was a terrible blow after all these years. But in every darkness a ray of light appears. In this story, I was saved by Pablo Airaldi, who almost immediately built me my Piña - a little bit after Pina Bausch and a little bit after the famous cyclist Pinarello. I fell in love with her instantly - that new feeling of hurtling unstoppably down the Danziger strasse and catching all the greens, something I wasn't very good at with my brompton😂It's a wonderful feeling, and I wanted to thank Pablo for it with this post and also point it out to you: if you need any bike put together, Pablo is your contact in Berlin! If you need to upgrade your old broken bike - Pablo is your man! Soon he will have his own bike workshop so folllow him, it will be worth it! And thank you Anevenua for this photo in our eternal wandering through the night city…

Seven years ago I wanted to start making comics, but I was really worried that I wasn’t going to be good enough at them to be worth investing years of my time on a big project.

So I started Grief is Weird, a project where I work with another writer to tell a story about a time their grief truly surprised them.
Years later, and the first issue is finally done! Pablo Airaldi (@fascistconsumerism) and I met as bike messengers, and we’ve continued to be friends through multiple years, cities, and professions. His writing is decisive and beautiful, and absolutely perfect for a comic format.

This comic was printed on a risograph through the generous donation of time and equipment of @anemone.es

If you’d like to purchase this zine you can find it on my website, or just tap the product link above. I know you will be as moved as I have been to spend some time with Pablo’s beautiful words.
