PURE EXPERIENCE— memories from winter: quantum listening in the Columbia River Gorge with @fatherofode @guss.sauna @snowpeakusa

we sat by the river in the rain, hiked through emerald forests to secret waterfalls, learning about the native flora and recording sounds of earth, making a collaborative sonic study.

returning to the apple orchard for a sweat session in Guss mobile sauna and a brave jump in the river. finishing off with a homemade soup in the landdd café and pour over coffee with @stumptowncoffee by the fire.

You’re listening to the field recording we made collectively in the emerald green forests of the Columbia River Gorge of secluded waterfalls and deep forest hertz.

Post-exploration and plant identification, we soaked in @guss.sauna , took a brave dip in the Columbia River and stayed warm with homemade soup in the Landdd cafe with @snowpeakusa fires.

NOV 23— A portal opens on the Washington side of the Columbia River Gorge with @fatherofode @snowpeakportland , @guss.sauna and @landdd_org

—hike through mossy old growth to a hidden waterfall, where Ethan DeLorenzo leads a study in plant identification and a sonic practice inspired by Pauline Oliveros’ Quantum Listening. Using Teenage Engineering gear, we’ll record a forest sound study before returning to the St. Cloud Orchard for riverside warmth— a session in Guss’s mobile wood-fired sauna, wintry cold plunge, fireside hang with snow peak & @stumptowncoffee in the landdd cafe. Rain or shine.
