"Science is not the only language by which we understand the world."

🎨 My first favourite thing about #RGSexplore2024 with @rgs_ibg was that I LOVED seeing the role of storytelling and art in exploration being celebrated. It was an unexpected joy.

💚 My second favourite thing was finding the community. What a joy to spend my time with people who "get it". What is "it?" That hunger for horizons. That delight in new cultures. That passion for the natural world. The unnameable conviction that there is stuff OUT THERE to find and experience and adore.

I feel like after every talk, workshop, film and tea break conversation I came away thinking "that's so COOL!". I met interesting people doing all sorts of amazing things I never even knew existed. I had a hugely enjoyable weekend, and I feel inspired. I am taking a break from NHS work next year and I am full of ideas for professional and personal adventures!

What was your favourite part? ⬇️
