This has been one of the most requested things in my business, and I’m so excited to finally say... Messages at Mercado is here.
For the month of July, I’ll be offering just 6 days of in-person appointments inside the beautiful Faun Salon in the Mercado District.
This space feels extra special because Faun is owned by my dear friend, Anna Jo. She’s been doing my hair for years, has been cheering me on through every season of my business, and getting to create this experience together feels incredibly full circle.

Curly hair has been a slow, intuitive education for me.
After about 2 years on my curl journey, this is what’s made the biggest difference:

1️⃣ Cut + shape intentionally
I get regular curly cuts with Anna Jo @faunsalon Healthy curls start with proper shape, not just length.

2️⃣ Prioritize scalp health
Once a week I treat my scalp with tea tree and rosemary oil, followed by deep conditioning, gentle exfoliation, and massage.
Scalp care equals hair care.

3️⃣ Support curls from the inside out
Hormones play a big role in texture, shedding, and growth. I take @ritual Women’s Multivitamin and focus on nourishment and balance.

4️⃣ Reduce stress on the hair
Filtered water, a silk pillowcase, microfiber towels only, a dedicated curly brush, and curl focused products from @davinesofficial including their curl shampoo, conditioner, and curl serum.

None of this happened overnight.
It’s been small discoveries over time, and the difference after two years is huge for me.
