🔥 VAST IS HEADING OUT INTO THE WORLD! 🔥

Our new horror short VAST, written and directed by @janvgorkum, is off to a fantastic start on the festival circuit!

Here are the first three festivals we can announce:

🖤 Mayhem Film Festival - WORLD PREMIERE on October 17
🖤 Brooklyn Horror Film Festival, New York - US PREMIERE on October 18
🖤 Toronto After Dark Film Festival - OFFICIAL SELECTION

We can’t wait for VAST to meet its first festival audiences!

A massive thank you to our entire cast & crew for the talent, dedication and love you poured into this film. A special shout-out to our leads, Markoesa Hamer and Bram van der Heijden, for their incredible performances. We’re so proud of what we’ve made together. 🥰

Our big thanks also go to our private financiers, Norma Fonds, Cinecitta and the Netherlands Film Fund for their support in making this project possible. 🖤

Super proud and grateful to announce that our project XX has been awarded project development funding by the @nederlandsfilmfonds ✨🥹

XX is the feature debut of @ninanoelraaijmakers and tells the story of screamqueen Roxy who, after a freak accident on a B-filmset, completely loses all sense of bodily integrity and autonomy…

This support allows us to dive further into the world of Roxy, and start visualizing its look and feel. Big congrats to the entire team, especially @sarieke and @rozemarijn1982, who have been instrumental in helping shape the story so far! ❤️

The timing is impeccable, as we are currently packing our bags ✈️💼 to head off to Canada next week, to pitch XX at the Frontieres Co-producers Market at @fantasiafestival.

We are hyped, ready and keen to meet the right people to jump on this rollercoaster ride with us, and help bring Roxy’s world to the big screen... 💕🎥

Production design @klaud_ia91 for Pocongdorie @pocongdorie , directed by Ivan Hidayat & Jasper ten Hoor @hetshotfilms , produced by @makewayfilm .
Set decoration by @eva.de.winter .

Pocongdorie explores intergenerational identity through the lens of horror-comedy. When an Indonesian-Dutch brother and sister are forced to clear out their childhood home, buried tensions resurface literally as their deceased mother returns as a pocong, a restless spirit from Indonesian folklore. The film weaves cultural heritage, grief and absurdity into a story about what we inherit, what we abandon and what refuses to stay buried.

Selected @imaginefilmfestival Winner best short @noordelijkfilmfestival and best comedy @fcmib Canada.
