Evelin Macias Fedmont is a 24-year-old filmmaker specializing in psychological drama and female-empowerment storytelling and the newest addition to the BLACK MOON production team.

Evelin’s work explores the inner worlds of complex women, blending emotional realism with heightened psychological tension. With her award- winning short films, she focuses on character-driven narratives, visual intimacy, and stories that amplify
women’s voices.

A word from Evelin-

“Throughout my life, I have been introduced to many great people who are as passionate about filmmaking as I am. That’s why I’m so excited to collaborate with Nick! Since his initial pitch of the film to me, I was drawn to its powerful message, distinctive aesthetic, and exciting potential to reach a wide audience. All of these elements have filled me with genuine passion for the project and a strong desire to be part of bringing it to life.

I’ve been craving a great vampire story—one that grabs you from the very beginning and refuses to let go until the end—and I truly feel that this is that story. With horror experiencing such a strong and exciting moment right now, it feels like the perfect time to create a memorable, alluring horror-action film. What makes this project even more enticing is its potential as an independent production: bold, distinctive, and capable of connecting with audiences on a much larger scale.”

Orlando Cruz is an actor, stunt performer, stunt coordinator, action director, producer, and lifelong martial artist whose work spans television, feature films, independent cinema, and video games.

With extensive training in Jeet Kune Do, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Judo, Boxing, Wing Chun, Muay Thai and Hapkido Orlando has spent years translating martial arts into cinematic action. His professional stunt credits include Luke Cage, Power, Made in Chinatown, and Border Hunters. He has also worked as an actor and lead performer in projects including, Mr. Shifty, Zato, and Brothers, while expanding his work behind the camera through fight choreography, stunt coordination, action direction, and production.

For over a decade, Orlando and BLACK MOON director Nicholas Ortiz have worked side by side, producing numerous projects together under Deviant Children Productions. Their collaboration has grown from making independent action films together into a creative partnership built around martial arts, filmmaking, practical action, and telling stories on their own terms.

Orlando now brings that experience to BLACK MOON, helping shape the film’s physical action while continuing a filmmaking partnership with Nick that has been more than ten years in the making.

A word from Orlando—

“Martial arts and filmmaking have always been connected for me. Martial arts systems & Films are human instincts expressed through the lens of culture. The expression that manifests depends on the creative needs and values of the society in which it is created. Both are forms of expression—you take years of experience, discipline and creativity and turn them into something that tells a story. Nick and I have been making films together for over a decade, learning and growing with every project. BLACK MOON represents the next evolution of that journey, and an opportunity for all of us to take everything we’ve learned and create something bigger than anything we’ve done before.”
