Huge thanks to the organizers of The Adaptive Climbing Program for the opportunity to be part of this experience. For the knowledge, the new perspectives on adaptive climbing, and most importantly for all the amazing people I had the chance to meet over these five days. You folks are just great! 🫶

I learned a lot, and not only about climbing, coaching, or accessibility, but also about how many different paths can lead people toward the same summit, the same movement, or the same goal.

Thank you for the trust, openness, all the conversations, shared attempts, and all the little moments that made these five days what they were.

Really happy to be part of this community 💙💛

Not for a lack of gratitude, but I haven’t given these moments the space they deserve.

So here it is 🤍

This season has been full in every sense. My partner went through two back-to-back surgeries that required near full-time care—and being there for that was a privilege. At the same time, I started school for sound design for film and television at Berklee, where I’ve been working hard to maintain a 4.0 on top of training for LA28.

Somewhere in the middle of it all, I started the season by earning a USA National Champion title and went on to win my first World Cup gold in Innsbruck—breaking a legendary 23-win streak by Lucie, something I never imagined for myself. Austria was a quick turnaround, and I flew home the morning after finals to finish my own finals for school. I didn’t really pause to take it all in.

So this is me, taking a moment now.

Grateful, deeply—for my partner, my family, my friends, my coaches, PTs, route setters, and everyone who forms the village behind what often looks like an individual pursuit.

I am stoked for rest of the 26’ comp season—Laval, Gunsan, Fukuoka—and climbing outside in the the most magical places with the people I love the most. Just feeling grateful for all of it.

Finding out from your bestie that you just won your first international comp since 2017, and first one back since ‘retirement’.

Photo by @phillybear_ on film that went through the XRay at TSA.

Next one in 43 days- France, I’m coming in hot.
