“Lisa, you need more jewelry! I want to shop!” 😂✨

That’s what one of my sweet regulars told me yesterday, and honestly, she’s right!

With the holidays around the corner, I’m dreaming up all the beautiful little treasures I want to bring into Feather Finds, our boutique at Feather Lash & Brow. 🤍

Think unique jewelry, inspiration journals, gorgeous natural candles, silk sleep masks, cozy herbal neck wraps, and thoughtful gifts you won’t find everywhere.

But I want YOUR ideas! ✨

What’s something you’ve bought for yourself or gifted someone that you absolutely LOVED?

I’m all ears! Help me fill Feather Finds with beautiful things worth giving (or keeping for yourself!). 🤍

I am LOVING this rainy weather! What a relief! 🌧️ Maybe we’re finally in for a real winter.

Yesterday, driving home from work in the rain, I noticed a piece of my windshield wiper dangling as it swept across the glass. Clearly, it’s time for new blades!

And naturally, my beauty brain made the connection… 😂

Your lashes need maintenance, too!

Just like windshield wipers, your lashes need a little TLC to keep doing their job beautifully.

That’s where Feather Care comes in. Packed with conditioning nutrients, it helps keep your lashes hydrated, strong, and healthy between Korean Lash Lifts.

Because the secret to beautiful lashes isn’t just the lift. It’s how you care for them afterward.

A little maintenance goes a long way! 💕

A little healing. ✨

My infrared treatment table is having its moment… and for good reason!

Featuring heated jade and tourmaline stones, gentle infrared warmth helps encourage circulation, soothe sore muscles, ease joint stiffness, and melt away tension.

A little wellness while you get your beauty on!

Included with every service during the cooler months at Feather Lash & Brow. 🤍 #healing #infared #beautyessentials #brows #lashes

✨ Tell Lisa! Story of the Week ✨

Sometimes the best beauty treatments are the ones nobody can figure out you’ve had done!

My lovely client Jennifer, a strawberry blonde with practically invisible lashes, recently tried her very first Korean Lash Lift & Tint.

Well, Jennifer recently joined a community garden, and one of her fellow gardeners noticed something different.

“You look so refreshed! What’s different?”

She couldn’t put her finger on it, but she loved how Jennifer looked naturally enhanced without appearing overdone.

The secret? Her lashes!

And guess what? That lovely gardener booked the same treatment with me and loved her results, too! 🍂

The best beauty enhancements don’t announce themselves. They simply get noticed.✨

Wake up ready, effortlessly. ✨

If you could wake up every morning with just ONE thing already done, what would it be?

Beautifully shaped brows?
Naturally lifted lashes?
Softly defined eyes?
Or lips with a hint of color and a beautifully defined Cupid’s bow?

We all have that one little beauty treatment we’ve been dreaming about trying.

With the holidays approaching, I’ve decided to make some of my favorite services a little more attainable, with prices that are almost scary low! 👻

Because sometimes a little enhancement is all we need.

Now I’m curious… what’s been on your beauty wish list? 💋

✨ LASH LINE ENHANCEMENT — DOES IT HURT?

My #1 question! Surprisingly, most clients say it tickles, like a little feather duster brushing their lashes! I’m known for my light hand, making the experience especially gentle.

Here’s how your 75-minute appointment unfolds:

You begin by relaxing on my gemstone-lined healing table with soothing music. Your eyes are cleansed, followed by 15 minutes of numbing with 5% lidocaine.

Using an ultra-fine single needle, similar in size to an acupuncture needle, I gently dust pigment along the lash line with a pendulum-like motion. I alternate between eyes, building color in three delicate passes, cleansing between each application.

Choose your color:
🤎 Soft Brown | Medium Brown | Auburn Brown | Dark Brown | 🖤 Black

The result? Naturally defined eyes, fuller-looking lashes, and a subtle, beautiful eye-opening effect that typically lasts 1–2 years.

This is truly one of my favorite services to perform! I love how something so subtle can make such a beautiful difference.

🌕 Did anyone see the moon last night?

It already looked incredible, and tonight is the Harvest Moon. ✨

I’ve always felt something different around a full moon. A little more energy, a little more magic… and maybe people get a little more cuckoo too. 😂 Whatever it is, I’m choosing to take that energy and put it somewhere positive.

Yesterday was one of those days at Feather where I did a little bit of everything—which is actually one of the things I love most about what I do.

Microblading on a new client, a Korean lash lift on one of my sweet girls I’ve known since she was 15—who is somehow about to turn 18!—a brow lamination, and a couple of much-needed brow overhauls.

By the end of the day, I felt like I’d run a marathon. 😂 I remember thinking, I would really love a sip of water… and maybe a chance to go to the bathroom.

But that’s a day at Feather. Different faces, different conversations, different transformations.

So that’s where I’m putting my Harvest Moon energy today: gratitude for what I get to do and excitement for what’s ahead. 🌕✨

Tonight, go outside and look up. And whatever that full-moon energy brings… put it somewhere good. 💜

TODAY’S TALK 🤍

Cancellations + Respecting Each Other’s Time

I had a cancellation today, which felt like a good time for a little reminder.

I have a 24-hour cancellation policy and no same-day cancellations.

And please know—I understand that life happens. Sometimes you simply cannot make an appointment you booked.

But as I always say…

Life happens, but my little business must go on. 🤍

⸻

I’VE SEEN BOTH SIDES

I had a client for 10+ years whom I genuinely considered a friend.

More than once, I found out at the time of her appointment that she wasn’t coming—after I had reserved a two-hour block just for her.

There was never an offer to pay for the missed time.

Eventually, when it happened again and I asked that my cancellation policy be honored, it wasn’t—and we went our separate ways.

No hard feelings. It simply taught me the importance of mutual respect.

⸻

AND THEN THERE’S SHIRLEY 🤍

Shirley recently had to cancel the same day because life happened.

Before I even asked, she sent me 50% of her service fee.

When I saw her the following week, she went completely above and beyond—she surprised me with lunch and a $100 tip.

Did I expect that? Absolutely not.
Was all of that necessary? Absolutely not.

It wasn’t just about the money—it was the thoughtfulness and the mutual respect.

✨ Korean Lash Lift Training is here at Feather Lash & Brow!

This technique has taken the lash industry by storm—and now you can add it to your service menu with confidence.

I’ve spent the last six months perfecting this technique and learning the little things that make a BIG difference.

You’ll learn how to create that beautiful root-to-tip lift, choose the right sizing, recognize red flags while processing, make corrections BEFORE they become mistakes, and troubleshoot when a lift doesn’t go exactly as planned.

One-on-One or Small-Group • 3 Hours • Hands-On Model • Supplies Included • $450

Come learn, practice, ask questions and leave ready to confidently offer one of the hottest lash services right now. ✨

I can always tell who’s doing their aftercare. 👀

With Korean lash lifts and brow laminations being two of my most popular services lately, I want to remind you that what you do after your appointment matters.

I created Feather Care Lash + Brow Conditioner specifically for this. It conditions the hair with ingredients like panthenol to help keep lashes and brows soft, flexible and healthy-looking after a lift or lamination.

And here’s where aftercare really makes a difference: the grow-out.

As your natural straight lashes or new brow hairs start growing in alongside the lifted or laminated hairs, dryness can make that transition look much more noticeable and unruly.

Keeping everything conditioned helps that grow-out feel softer and look smoother until it’s time for your next appointment.

Great results start in my chair. Keeping them beautiful happens at home. 🤍

Available at Feather Lash + Brow.

Reflecting with a quick look around Feather today.

I was thinking about how often we focus on the next step instead of enjoying where we are now.

Sharing this in case someone else can take something positive from it.

Not every business needs to keep getting bigger.

Sometimes it’s worth checking in with yourself and asking what your quality of life actually looks like.

I used to think success meant more employees, more clients, more hours, more growth. Now I work fewer hours, take the clients I need, and get to enjoy my work in a way that feels more balanced and fulfilling.

Downsizing doesn’t always mean going backwards.

Sometimes freedom is the upgrade.
