A week has gone by since closing, and I have barely begun to process all that the last five weeks held - joy, excitement, gratitude, self-doubt met with the overwhelming encouragements of everyone around me, FUN, exhaustion lol, life/changing connections, meaningful conversations, the vibe of NYC that doesn’t exist anywhere else, but more than anything, the friends and loved ones that showed up to support me!! SO MUCH LOVE it is truly overwhelming. I love and appreciate you all!! Huge hugs and thanks to the FANTASTIC production team, the band who was AMAZING, and of course to my talented comrades in arms in the cast! @epdanzer @danielflevin @julian.blackmore @roemanzo @tiffany_tunes @kellyincoolplaces

Spandex 🎤👩🏻‍🎤🛼🎸📼
(Off-Broadway, Asylum NYC, 2026)
What a joy it was to be a part of such an incredible show! Growing up on 80s movies and music, I felt so at home here! I had the perfect excuse to travel with my Walkman to every rehearsal/performance playing my favorite cassettes (some of which had Tiffany’s songs on them)! Each performance, I would listen to the audience react to different 80s references and then watch them jump out of their seats to sing and dance to the epilogue song. The whole crowd would just come alive with the brightest smiles on their faces, and I feel super lucky to have been able to see this each day. On top of this electric show, it was such a pleasure to work with the most talented and funny cast, crew, and creative team! This group made me laugh so much each day! I truly had a blast! Thank you to everyone involved with this project! 💙🩷💜

🧶 Ever felt like it was impossible to focus during a performance?

With Meisner, that’s not the point - in fact, that idea can get in your way.

📝 Instead of getting wound up in their *Actor Homework,* great Meisner actors let their brains wander to whatever is interesting or mysterious in the moment. 💡

Embrace your inner kitten and get EXCITED to explore!

Picture this: you’re doing exactly what you feel you were put on this earth to do.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
On 7/14 (love that number 🤌🏼), we held a public Meisner in Music workshop for NYC-ers who hadn’t gotten to experience the magic in the room yet. I am obsessed with the singers who worked, I can’t put into words how much I admire my colleague @_adamjwhite, and I am in continuous awe by what this technique can do. Running the business side of Meisner in Music is hard but teaching it feels like the easiest thing I’ve ever done. I don’t quite know how to say this and I hope that the way I’ll try to doesn’t sound egotistical: it truly feels like I’ve had the luck of being a vessel for this work. Half the time, I don’t know where I’m going to go or what I’m going to say next to a singer and then…🌬️ something that seems to be coming from beyond me comes out and it feels like exactly what needed to be said. I feel very grateful to be the person whose shoulder this Meisner inspiration has its hand on. Teaching MiM has been the gift of a lifetime and I hope that I get to do it for a long time. 🩵
