Alain Graillot Crozes Hermitage 2023
•

Finale lunghissimo.

Event Management, Press Office and Digital PR for @coravin

To celebrate the launch of the Coravin Guide Rome Edition, we hosted an intimate talk last Wednesday, September 9th, in the garden of Anima at The Rome EDITION, bringing together @coravin founder and chairman Greg Lambrecht, renowned wine producer Federico Ceretto @cerettowinery and Italy’s first female Master of Wine, Cristina Mercuri @cristinamercuri_wine, for a conversation around the evolving world of wine consumption and the opportunities offered by wine by the glass.

Journalists, influencers and sommeliers from some of Rome’s top venues had the opportunity to discover and taste a curated selection of wines by the glass, served with Coravin and paired with a selection of bites designed to complement the experience. The evening also saw the presentation of the official Coravin Guide certificates to the Rome venues featured in the Guide.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make this special evening possible.

Great dinner earlier this week at Latour in Ridgewood with Peter and Scott from the Knights of Alba NYC delegation.

A fantastic meal, even better conversation, and the chance to enjoy some beautiful bottles — including Barbaresco and Barolo with some serious age on them.

And of course, we Coravined them — so we can pick up right where we left off the next time we get together. 🍷

Great wine is meant to be shared.

In La Piola, in Alba, the partnership between Enrico Crippa and the Ceretto family shows again how powerful it is when cuisine and wine listen to each other. After their three‑Michelin‑star restaurant, they now open a more popular space where gastronomy becomes part of everyday life and each dish celebrates the territory

𝐂𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐨 𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐨𝐥𝐨 '𝐁𝐫𝐮𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐞' 𝟐𝟎𝟏𝟔

It's been a while since I had my last Ceretto 2016 in the glass. What could be a better moment and place than Brunate nelle Brunate da @le_brunate ?

Classic 2016 radiance, pure energy and huge depth that a site like Brunate shows in an incredible way in a vintage like 2016. It got certainly a tad more finessed over the past years, showing layers and levels and ever changing red/blueish crystalline aromatics, with the trademark hint of balsam. Pretty majestic. A wonderful, kinda textbook expression of a (young) 'Brunate'.
