The prompt made me think of high holy days, and to happen Easter? Oh, the salted taste of tears and bitterness. I am writing to deal with the unimaginable and calling on all senses I recall from all loss. It is unbearable to think of a parent burying their child and I am angry! I’ve been through this and I’ve seen what it has done. Has never undone. She never ever did an unkind thing in her lifetime. I’ve known her since we were 6? No one deserves to suffer this unjustifiable fate.

The essence of love is unconditional acceptance, selflessness, and a conscious choice to nurture, trust, and support another, even when it is difficult. It transcends temporary emotions, acting as a profound, often intangible force that binds people together through compassion, empathy, and sacrifice, rather than selfish expectation☘️🍁🍀

Not All Feelings Are Visible

“Some feelings are deeply felt
but never shown.”

Not every pain is visible.
Sometimes the deepest emotions
are hidden behind silence.

❤️ Double-tap if struggles made you better, not bitter
💬 Comment “SILENT” if you understand this
📌 Save this for quiet moments

Though a food photo may seem odd on a poetry page, for the prompt “Temple” I find my kitchen is my place where I worship and celebrate another form of creativity. I’d taken off several weeks to get in touch with my spiritual self, what feeds my soul, makes my heart sing and celebrate life. It is music, words, family, my Jett, faith and yes, my life-long love of creative cooking. It’s in my dna. I’ve lived and traveled to so many wonderful places #foodies love, then I go home and recreate what I just was fascinated by that made my palette sing! I am a food blogger and have worked on a family cook book for years now. How many men I’ve parted ways with have said “I’m going to miss your cooking.”😅😂🌹♥️

And this is my own creation of a “chicken pot pie” made fresh from scratch and without any recipe, just tastebud memories.
✴️I’m always available to share any recipe from dressings and soups to more complicated meals!
