🧡Accelerating women’s ownership
Largest Nordic community for female entrepreneurs and investors

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

My WHY 👇
Inspiring and educating women on the importance of ownership, across every asset class.

Every investor I meet say equal ownership isn’t enough to base VC or growth investment decisions on.

Every investor I meet say women’s risk taking keeps them away from raising external money. I don’t believe it’s true. Based on financial delivery data shows womenled companies yield equal returns. (Malin Malmström has very interesting data here).

So the responsibility is not on the founders but on the investors, to understand what they need to do differently.

That’s the groundwork we do at @feminvest, @feminvest.f.accelerator and @feminvestventures.

On the panel at @aviciiarenaofficial, I was asked about the moat. It’s the system I build for trust, due diligence and value add through the community.🙏🏻

Everyone is welcome to take part as a member free of charge. 🤍

During H.R.H. Crown Princess Victoria’s visit to Latvia, Latvijas Investīciju un attīstības aģentūra - LIAA brought together seven Latvian women-led companies and startups with Swedish investors. Our founder Michaela Berglund met the founders alongside Lisen Oliw, partner at BackingMinds.

The founders presented their business models and growth plans and we discussed investment collaborations.

Thank you to LIAA, Ieva Jagere I EMBA and Vita Andrews for the initiative, and to the founders for sharing their ambitions:
Engycell, Alternative Plants, StartSchool, L-Blend Wine Based Drink, PrintyMed, P-Agro Minerals and Smart Indicators.

Female founders from across Europe are always welcome to apply to our funds here: https://app.youform.com/forms/wx4np47d

Heading to bed after a long day in Riga together with a delegation from Sweden. This evening I visited Riga Castle together with the Swedish Crown Princess and the President of Latvia and heard a quote that made me think about Apple’s “Think Different” campaign from 1997.

“Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can’t do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.”

The people who change things are rarely the ones who fit neatly into existing structures. They build new ones.🤍

Today we launch Feminvest Fund Accelerator 🚀

After months of building the structure, ecosystem and partnerships behind it, we are excited to welcome our first cohort of four ambitious female-led companies: Sandtimer by @kajjso , Aercit by Vanessa Vo, @litensfood by @veralitens and @vilmalitens and @ivoryfield by @yolinneyan.

Over the next six months, we will bring together three essential forces:
👩‍💻 Founders, building and scaling ambitious companies
💰 Investors, opening doors to capital and growth
🤝 Community experts, sharing experience, networks and hands-on expertise

With a community of 55,000+ members and hundreds of active angel investors, Feminvest has a unique opportunity to connect talent, capital and knowledge around the companies shaping the future.
We are incredibly proud of what we are launching today and even more excited about what we can build together.

Welcome to the first Feminvest Fund Accelerator cohort. Let’s scale ✨
