Dunkeld 🤍✨

I’ve been building memories here for over 30 years, and yesterday’s were just as beautiful as ever.

What I will say though, it took me 40 mins to drive 3.5 miles just before The Hermitage!!! Never seen it like that IN MY LIFE! I’m assuming it’s because the sun was out, but it will be EVEN more beautiful in around 3 weeks time - losers!

Every Halloween, I like to head out to @craigies_farm_shop, buy myself a ridiculously large pumpkin, carve a face into it, and then proceed to wear it on my head.

What follows next is typically some sort of strange activity. Dancing, skipping, sword fighting. You know...average weekend activities. This one we're pulling out from 2023 with @feyrewellness
And @alanis_in_wonderland

I'll be heading out again soon to obtain some more pumpkins. What I need now is some pumpkin head activity suggestions!

Why I wrote the book that I wanted to read!

This is also for you if you feel stressed out, burnt out, overwhelmed, overstimulated and just unable to switch off.

I’ve spent 5 years finding out why being in nature helps me feel calm and researching all the science behind it so I could make a book that distills this down into a simple and easy to read book that I want to share with you so you can enjoy the zen with me!

It is full of beautiful photos (even looking at nature images can calm a stressed out nervous system!) and simple, free ways to bring a little bit more nature in a bit at a time. It doesn’t need to be big, it can start by looking out of your window at the sky, and even that has a measurable effect.

I’m definitely still naturally a stresshead who is often running on empty and overwhelmed as life is still lifeing, however I feel like I now have a toolkit of different ways to just tap into natures incredible healing powers to switch into that calm mode more easily.

The book is out next week September 3rd! Please buy one for yourself, your stressed out friend (it makes a gorgeous gift) and hopefully we can all find a more chill existence together! 🌿💫🌼🌊🥰

Do you have a wild fix trick that helps you calm down when you are feeling stressed out? If so please share below, I’m sure everyone would benefit from it!

From sea to sauna...

Cool swims. Warm saunas.

Sandy feet. Star-filled skies.

With Mossyard Beach just five minutes from the retreat, some of the best summer days are also the simplest.

End the day beneath Galloway's Dark Skies, where, on a clear night, the Milky Way stretches overhead.

That's summer at Isles of Fleet Retreat.

Claire @feyrewellness brought her family to their favourite Bothy, Keppoch this last weekend 💚

These guys have been back, oh, maybe 6 or 7 times now since we opened in April '22 💚

They always choose Keppoch. Mark and I call it 'Claire's Bothy'. A layout with a bigger bathroom and seating right opposite the stove could be the clincher 💚

If you have been to stay with us before, spill the tea 💚

Which of our 3 Bothies is your favourite? Tell us why if you like, in the comments 💚
