Some pictures and videos from another round of the @geoff_page_engineering @brscc_hq SCFF Championship at Oulton Park. Another packed grid at a circuit we haven’t been to for 20 years was great fun. Over the 2 races we came home P9/P8, which was about as good as we could have hoped for with a small power deficit. Massive thanks to @pitstoppete for all your help and to @alan.bowles.5458 for organising such a great championship! 📸 @ff1600heroes

First race weekend ✅

Rough start to the day with a carb issue that cost ~3s a lap - randomly dropping power for a few moments at a time. Lined up 30th and 32nd out of 33 for races 1 and 2 respectively as a result. Today was by no means about times but even so, still frustrating.

Couldn’t sort the issue for race 1 and ended up overcooking myself trying to make up for it - which led to a couple pirouettes at Maggots and Brooklands for a 27th place finish.

Managed to bodge half a fix for race 2 (still probably lost ~0.5s but in the grand scheme of day pretty happy with that). Iffy start but kept pumping the laps in to end the day with 22nd from stone dead last at the end of lap 1.

Lots of work to be done for sure but a decent start to the career. Many more to go.

Rounding off the 2025 season with the Walter Hayes trophy in Silverstone!
Some of the most exciting (& chaotic) racing I've ever watched

Recap: Trackday at the @circuitmeppen where @marisschulte drove his father's 1987 Formula Ford Van Diemen RF87 last sunday.

I have taken the opportunity to try different camera angles as well as shoots with the drone to capture a wonderful foggy and sunny day!

For many motorsport enthusiasts those old cars are a time travel into an era where racing was different compared to now.

Can you agree? 👇🏻

A mega weekend at the Walter Hayes Trophy in the @simonhadfieldmotorsport Van Diemen RF85. P6 in Heat 3, P13 in Semi Final 2 and a great result of P18 in the Grand final mixing with some of the modern cars💪 not bad for a 40 year old car! P5 in the Pre98 Pre Final and P4 on the road in the Pre98 Final. A massive thank you to everyone that makes it possible, Simon Hadfield Motorsport Ltd, my parents and our friends.

A special mention to James Beckett and family for organising possibly the best event of the year!
