What an incredible year !!
During this year I have been able to fly on 4 different airfield discovering a lot of new places.
I begun my season with a gliding training week in St Auban. Within this week, I have been able to fly with wave condition. I so learned hop to fly with new glider with these condition reaching over 5000m.
Afterwards I went back to my club to fly. I flew to train for gliding competition. I also tried to help my club with winch, winch formation, maintenance and cleaning.
In july, the first competition begun. We were not a lot but we had a lot of fun and the food was great.
Afterwards I went back home and flew as much as I could to train for the Junior Championship.
I did some of my greatest flight like a 444 km for 96 km/h.
Then came the French Junior Gliding Championship. The training days condition were really good with great thermals and ceiling. However during the competition we were not that lucky. It was really windy and there were a lot of clouds covering the sky. A lot of outlanding for my competitors and low points days for everyone making it really close.
To sum up, this year was by far my greatest year of gliding with incredible fly all over France.
Hope next year will be this great.
