Exactly why is it so difficult for romance fraud victims to pursue justice? Because our laws DO NOT CONTAIN the CORRECT DEFINITION OF CONSENT! Current legal language recognizes that every YES or act of compliance constitutes CONSENT. It’s the perfect legal loophole for scammers to slither through! The Consent Awareness Network is fighting to make fraud & coercion an element of CONSENT LAW - CONSENT is #FGKIA: freely given, knowledgeable informed agreement by a person with the capacity to reason. Help us end victim blaming and revolutionize penal code - sign the petition that’s linked in our bio⬆️#CodifyConsent

📸 The learning curve when shooting at night can be pretty steep. Long exposure times, not knowing where/how to pull focus for sharper shots, whether to stop the lens down for more depth of field or to shoot it wide open, the list goes on.

📸Like any other aspect of photography, it takes time and repetition to find out what works for you and your equipment. Not every shot will be perfect or spectacular as you get dialed in, but staying consistent will get your shots to where you want them.

📸 Nature’s cotton candy. One thing I can say about the small town I currently live in, the sunsets here are to die for.

📸 My weekly drives have begun to take me deeper into the mountainous desert and these behemoths never disappoint.

📸 With hundreds of miles of unpaved highways left to explore, I can’t begin to imagine what is still out there waiting for me.

📸 It never ceases to amaze, the constant learning process involved in taking photographs no matter what your level of experience.

📸 I recently purchased an ND (neutral density) filter for one of my lenses and have been trying to implement it more and more as I shoot. It allows me to adjust the amount of light coming into the lens under very bright conditions without having to close the aperture, allowing for shots that are still ultra crisp.

📸The first two frames were taken without the filter, the last three with. Hope everyone’s Monday is off to a great start!

📸 35mm mixed bag proofs. All shot on @ilfordphoto B&W films with my @canonusa AE-1.

📸 It never ceases to amaze me how different every single shot looks when shooting on film. Grateful for this expansive Utah wilderness and the opportunity to capture it every weekend.

📸 As modern day photographers, we all try to get the “perfect” shot with each press of the shutter button. I got news for you, every shot IS perfect in its own way.
