THANK YOU BARRIE!!

We had the BEST time @fibrespirit yesterday- it felt so good to finally be able to be back at this show and hang out with all our fibre friends! The organizing team is out of this world incredible, and every detail is executed meticulously, which made for a fantastic show!

You guys showed up and kept us busy the entire day! Our new yarn bases were gobbled up quickly, and we have lots of dyeing to do to replenish our stock before @kwknittersguild in just two weeks!

Thank you so much to my wonderful friend @forest.jem for spending your Saturday working with me at the booth, and promoting your beautiful hand dyed yarns! And thank you for being so considerate with sharing your tallness with me 🙃

What a wonderful weekend- I have all the fuzzy feels 🥰

Spent the day at the Fibre Spirit Festival in Barrie and came home with armfuls of hand‑dyed merino wool magic 🧶✨
From moody tones to pastel dreams, I’m officially sweater‑weather ready and ecstatic to start new projects!

Grateful for these talented artisans:
@stixandstonesnb @forest.jem @winstonfibresco @fullmoonfibres @hipknitized

I even got my nails done to match my new finds 💅💜 and discovered the sweetest handmade epoxy buttons from @demibougiebuttons and @goodgriefyarnshop , a perfect finishing touch for cozy creations.

What an amazing day at @fibrespirit ❤️🩷
The day flew by and it was wonderful to meet so many creative and lovely people all in one place! Thank you to everyone who stopped by and said hello or found a treasure to take home!

((The bunny butt needle holders sold out quickly so I'm planning to make up some more for the KW Knitters Fair @kwknittersguild September 12... Given the quick turnaround, I better hop to it! 🐇🐰🥕))

The afternoon @fibrespirit had us working on MITERED SQUARES 🤩
Yes, I LOVE mitered squares because they are so versatile.
You make so many things with this modular knitting technique .
Not just blankets, which are a top favorite.
I have a few mitered square tops and a skirt, of course 🥰
You can knit hats and mittens and socks and scarves and bags and dog sweaters and slippers and kids toys and....
My favorite part about mitered squares is that they are all knitted together.
You join them as you knit!
Another fabulous thing is that this technique is great for stash busting!!!
Who doesn't love a good stash busting project???

Thanks to Andrea @pineandpurl, Annika @dragon_strings, Jess and all of the amazing volunteers today was a total success 🤗🤗🤗

What a great day at the Fibre Spirit Festival in Barrie today 😀
Andrea @pineandpurl Annika @dragon_strings , Jess and all the volunteers did an amazing job getting everything ready.

We had fun in the morning class with a new technique: Inlay knitting, otherwise known as Swedish weave, or Roosimine.

It was really interesting how everyone caught on really quickly and used their own technique to manage the yarns!

A day filled with fibre, creativity, community — and coffee. ☕️🧶✨

We loved being part of @fibrespirit at the @barriecurlingclub_bcc, serving up coffee while the Canadian fibre arts community came together to knit, crochet, weave, spin, felt, shop and share their craft.

There’s something pretty special about a room full of people who love making things by hand. 🤎

We are here @fibrespirit at the Barrie Curling Club today, not quite 9-5, but 10-4!

I have the latest micro small batch of Little Squirts Sock Blanks and a restock of our luxurious yak sock base amongst all the other wonderful, whimsical, woolly magic. Come out and squish all the things!
